Our tour of the Jungle Prada Site with David was outstanding. He brought the history of the Tocobaga people and the early Spanish presence to life with a level of knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling that made the entire experience unforgettable. David has a gift for explaining complex history in a way that feels engaging, accessible, and genuinely fun. The site itself is beautiful, but it was David’s passion and depth of insight that made the tour truly special. He encouraged questions, shared fascinating details you won’t find on signs or in guidebooks, and created an atmosphere where everyone felt involved. You can tell he cares deeply about preserving and sharing this history. If you’re in the area, this tour is a must. We walked away with a richer appreciation for the land, the people who lived here long before us, and the importance of protecting these cultural treasures. Highly recommended.

Excellent tour! David possesses a phenomenal amount of historical information about the land/surrounding areas. He is thorough and takes time to answer your questions. I absolutely love the peacocks.🦚 While much of the vegetation was destroyed in the storms, what remains is still beautiful.

This was a gem of a tour. David was an excellent guide and so full of historical information about the area. It was well worth the time and price. Much of the vegetation has been effected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton but they are working to restore the beauty. The peacocks are abundant..

What a gem of an experience. Visiting the Sacred Lands and hearing David’s stories and history of the place is such a treat. Beautiful grounds, filled with many plants and of course majestic peacocks. David not only has a wealth of information, but a passion for sharing it in an entertaining way. I highly recommend anyone in the St Pete area to treat yourself to this tour.

This was an exceptional tour full of Floridian history, Native American history, plant information and plenty of peacocks to photograph. Our tour guide/owner David is full of extremely interesting information and even my 6 and 9 year old were engaged and quiet the whole tour which rarely happens. I told my father in law, this is a tour I could have taken multiple times because it had so much information and history to learn. Unfortunately we are from out of state, so that probably can’t happen. However, this is probably one our favorite things we did while visiting Florida. Thank you again for an exceptional tour!!
