Maybe you are like me about 2 years ago, searching for a therapist you can trust with the person you love most. I had a very hard time finding reviews about success stories with their children. I ended up just trying out the closest option to me, with a recommendation by Eddins that Joey Harmon would likely be the best fit for my son. My, then 3rd grader, son was expressing deeply alarming feelings of worthlessness (amongst so many negative feelings toward himself) and struggled so much with emotional self-regulation. For a long time, my son did weekly sessions, at my request. Eventually Joey did say my son was likely at the end of his need for therapy, however, we continued to monthly appointments. I just was too afraid, honestly. The amount of progress my son made with Joey, I cannot thank Joey enough. He taught my son several different techniques to deal with his “explosive” feelings. He helped him deal with strong anxieties of being left behind… of loved ones passing, and generally dealing with sad things we have to deal with in life. Now my son shows me positive perspectives at times when I’m worrying or checking in on him. I had intense fears of what would happen with my son when he goes into middle school next school year, if he couldn’t start controlling anxieties and emotions, but the progress I’ve witnessed, his teachers have witnessed… I’m so happy. My son at first was very embarrassed by needing therapy, but soon after growing a trusted bond with Joey (plus he thinks he’s very cool) he had no shame and would proudly tell anyone he was headed to therapy when anyone would ask where he was going when being picked up for school and whatnot. I cannot stress enough, if you’re a parent looking for help… reach out to Joey Harmon. A very kind human who I’ll forever be thankful for. And I know my son will never forget Joey.

Diana Parlante is a kind, empathetic, and engaging clinician. As a fellow systemically trained therapist, I know what she’s capable of and how helpful she can be to couples and families who need direction and help. She had a lot of professional experience with betrayal and trauma. If you’re looking for someone in the area to help you or your family needs, look her up!

I am beyond satisfied with Jennifer Castro, I knew during our first session that we clicked and she would be someone I was comfortable sharing things with. She is receptive, thoughtful and validating, and I am very appreciative of this. She has given me some great tools to use to help move myself past some trauma, and these tools, as well as just talking with her in general, proved helpful very quickly. I am looking forward to working with her further!

I have been seeing Jessica Ingram for a couple months now and I would remiss if I didn’t say how grateful I am to have found her. She is warm, compassionate, understanding and consistent as a therapist. I’ve been going to therapy for a long time but Jessica is someone who really holds a mirror to you and challenges you to do the work from within. A good therapist is one that makes you think - and that’s exactly what she does while making you feel seen and heard. Finding Eddins, and Jessica as a therapist, getting on a consistent pre booking therapy schedule has brought a lot of ease into my life. Highly recommend this place whether you’re new to therapy or not.

So far, it’s been a very positive experience. Looking forward to more positive things in the future! Although it’s been a bit slow starting off, I don’t view it as a negative, as Diana is taking the time to really get to know me and what’s going on in my head. I feel that she’s compiling as much data as possible so that the treatment will have maximum effectiveness, and to me, that’s worth being patient for. Diana has a great presence, being extremely pleasant and patient, and I always feel like she’s genuinely listening and trying to work out the best way to help me improve. I feel blessed to have ended up in her care!
