Went to two other smog stations before EZ Star. First place, no one even looked at me for 5 minutes. Second place, guy was on break and told me I’d have to wait 30 minutes. Richard, at EZ provided fast, friendly service. Thanks Richard!
Easy and fast service with great helping attitude. I think I found my new go to spot. I came in without my papers due to a chaotic morning and they were able to help out. I was in and out within 10 minutes. They also offer a variety of services DMV related. Customer searing and WiFi available while you wait.
Richard is a super nice. He keeps the test simple to get your car in and out. I have been here for years and always recommend his business to other people.
This guy rude and a cheat. He tried to charge me $80 for a smog test but charged others ~$35. He said it’s because my car is exotic. It’s a Porsche. Thats definitely NOT exotic. A Lamborghini is exotic, not a 13 year old Porsche.
This morning I went to EZ Star Smog Oakland on San Pablo & 34th Street. I met with Richard Martinez, the owner of, who explained everything that he needed to do for testing the emissions on our car. I was impressed by his professionalism and while talking with him, realized he could also complete my registration and provide me with a sticker good til 2025! I was delighted to let him handle all of my paperwork! Richard own his business and takes great pride in providing great service!
