Would give a zero if it was possible. Looked at the laptop for 10 mins and said it was beyond repair and offered me £50 for it, telling me it's a deal 😭. Taken it elsewhere - it's a gaming laptop, worth more than that, even for the parts. Would not recommend especially after reading some other reviews!

Incompetent! I tried to tell them where the problem was, but there was no one willing to even just consider about my suggestions. I thought may be I shoulde trust them and let them try to find out the problem. However, they paid four days and did nothing useful. The only thing they do was refleshing my phone and making it into an unavailable state. I even needed to fix it by myself. Although they backed up for me, but they still lost almost 100G of data. The most important thing is, they wasted about one week then told me that they cannot fix my phone . The reason was they were afraid to take the risk. I even had to pay 60 pounds for these totally useless services. I will never come back again. Addendum: I happened to come back and see their reply three years later, which made me very angry, so I wrote this. Don’t believe anything they replied. They used “her,” which shows they didn't even know which customer wrote the review—I’m a man. The problem with my phone was that the Wi-Fi function didn’t work. I clearly told them that this is a known common issue with this model—caused by excessive SoC power consumption leading to a cold (dry) solder joint. The problem can be fixed simply by re-soldering the SoC chip. I also specifically emphasized that they should not try reflashing the system, because that would be pointless. However, the only thing they did over the course of an entire week was reflashing the system, which caused me to lose more than 100 GB of data. Then they told me they didn’t dare take the risk, so they couldn’t re-solder it. The shop’s attempt to cover up what they did is even more infuriating than their incompetence. All they have are exorbitant charges, poor technical skills, and dirty, despicable lies.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Google the owner Barry, he has an incredibly interesting legal and business history! You'll also see what the people of Leeds think about him. The disparity between the Yelp reviews and Google reviews are very interesting. The fact that this business is situated in Leeds Student Union is disappointing. Service poor and unprofessional. Owner rude and dismissive, and has no technical knowledge. I witnessed a customer being quoted £100 for a phone screen replacement for labour only, with the screen not included, which is absolutely extortionate. I raised a complaint with a union representative, who immediately recognised which business the complaint related to, which suggests this is not an isolated issue. I left my laptop for repair in September. By February it had still not been fixed, so I collected it. I was charged £40 despite no repair being completed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business and would advise others to be cautious before using their services.

He’s a scammers it’s been 2 months of him holding my laptop hostage. Terrible communication I’ve asked for him to tell me the price of how much it would cost for the pictures ?? Since day one he’s called me once gave me his personal number and still communication is poor ? He’s still not given me a price and scammed me as I said since minute one that is this 60 pound of the pictures to be uploaded and he was saying yes and waffling I didn’t need him to fix the laptop as I knew it was broken beyond repair such a joke and now I DO NOT HAVE A LAPTOP AND THIS ADDED STRESS IN EXAM SEASON. I’m reporting him to the union if you’re a STUDENT SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY. His excuse was his wife is in Hospital I think it’s became clear to me he’s hiding behind this nice old man act. Anyways save your money I’ve been very patient because that’s who I am by nature. But it’s actually a Joke also there’s are so many reviews online that say he’s a SCAMMER so please do your research. Also he can barely use his phone I had to save my own number he’s not a trustful tech guy there’s so many things that don’t make sense. WASTE OF TIME ENERGY AND MONEY.
