Horrible experience. The tailors did not listen to what I asked for, and I had to return a second time to correct basic instructions. On my second visit, a different person took measurements, and the staff openly mocked me for mentioning that my previous workplace had an in-house tailor—very unprofessional behavior. I was charged $180 for alterations on two and a half pairs of pants, but the handwritten bill was unclear and difficult to understand. I still have no idea what justified that price. Overall, the staff was arrogant, unfriendly, and dismissive. The service felt disorganized and uncomfortable from start to finish. I do not recommend this place at all.

From the moment you walk into Tailleur Gamache, you feel well taken care of because the staff is always welcoming, professional and courteous. The tailoring however is where they truly shine. With my hip-to-waist ratio and pronounced hip line, I often need pants taken in at the waist and my skirts adjusted from the hem instead of the waist. These are not simple alterations, yet the results have always been reliable and well done - impeccable even! Tailoring is such a detailed and essential craft, and Tailleur Gamache truly stands out. Their skill, precision and client care make them one of the best in the business. Love the new location and thank you!!

randomly came in one day to get some jeans adjusted because i used to work close by and they've been my immediate go-to any time I have adjustments to clothes that i'm too scared to do myself! don't be worried to bring in stuff other than suits, they'll do a perfect job with whatever you bring and the pricing is really good too!

Great service—friendly, professional, and super efficient! I went in to get a pair of pants hemmed and they did it the same day. You can tell that they put thought and care into their work. I will definitely go back to them for any future clothing alterations.

JS and Geneviève went above and beyond to build me the best looking bespoke suit I could ever ask for and at a great price. I recommend them wholeheartedly for any custom suits or shirts. Their attention to detail was remarkable, it fits like a glove, but I can move in all the right places. They wouldn’t let me leave with my suit until it was 100% to my vision and liking. I’d give 6 stars if I could. I’ll be back again and again. Merci beaucoup pour tout!!
