I balayage my hair and she is great at keeping my hair healthy as I grow it out despite coloring it. The salon is also so clean and relaxing! Ellie styled my hair and it was a wonderful experience! My hair looked exactly the way I wanted and Ellie has a really fun and calming energy that made feel so comfortable. Also, the dark room where you get your hair washed is such a vibe - truly a unique and relaxing experience in there.

I have been going to Golden Soul for over 10 years. I’m a twice annual basic cut girly, except for this one time when I got some subtle fall low lights & highlights. Nicole & her team are thoughtful, caring and provide the utmost quality customer service to make you feel comfortable. Not only are they lovely people, they are incredibly talented hair professionals. At GS you can get anything from basic cuts & perfect natural colors, to weird, wild and wonderful (I’ve seen it all) there is someone on their team who can do it for you. My husband and I both go here. Oh and let’s not forget the best part, the wash room is a rainforest meditation dreamscape that makes your hair appointment feel like a spa date. Drool. The whole salon also has a very pretty and warm aesthetic.

I went to Golden Soul for the first time and absolutely loved it! The salon itself is very welcoming and clean and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. It's not pretentious like some salons can be and I felt very comfortable the whole time I was there. Abby did my color and cut and she did a great consultation with me first. She made sure to check in with me along the way to make sure I was happy with everything and gave me great advice and her professional opinion when I did ask. The shampoo room is so relaxing and I wanted to stay in there all day! I LOVE how my hair turned out and I would definitely recommend Abby and this salon!

These days, it’s a bit hard to tell if the photo is of a hair coloring or haircut service, but after much research on Yelp and Instagram, I was able to narrow down my top choices and ended up booking a haircut appointment with Abby Brown ($80). The salon is thoughtfully decorated and was giving boho vibes. Upon check-in, they asked if I parked in the garage since they have a parking validation QR code, and if I wanted anything to drink. I was surprised they offered wine, and the white wine I got was the perfect level of sweetness for me. After being seated, Abby came over and started our consultation, asking me what I had in mind and gave me recommendations on my bangs. I have thin, flat hair, so we went with a long layered hairstyle with curtain bangs. Afterwards, she walked me to the back to the shampoo area. Like everyone else, I loved the shampoo area—it's dark green and moody with chill music and fake plants hanging from the ceiling, so you feel like you're laying in nature. It’s super tranquil, especially when the scalp massage starts. I liked the Davines products they used; my scalp had a light tingling sensation and felt really clean, and the all-in-one milk made my hair smell so good. We walked back to the chair and she confirmed the length before she started cutting away. She took her time, making sure both sides were even. When she was close to finishing, she asked me how I wanted my hair styled. I went with the blowout since it was quicker and it looked like the reference pictures I showed her. Abby knows how to work a round brush with the Dyson blow dryer and really accentuated all the layers she gave me. It was pouring when I was done with my haircut, so they were nice enough to let me out through the back door that leads to the garage where my husband picked me up.
