DO NOT trust this company with your money or your pet!!!! When Dr. O'Rear and the others worked here, the cost was worth the care, but the company itself has driven away all of the staff, doctors, and technicians that once made this place great, and is exhausting and overworking the staff they have now, pushing them beyond boundaries that make them capable of providing quality care, to no fault of the doctors and staff. This company could care less about its employees, and I genuinely believe they care even less about your pet. Their prices inflate more frequently than any other clinic I've been to for seemingly no reason, and the changes they've made to wellness plans are predatory and misleading. You are NOT getting what you're paying for! The vet industry is already struggling with accusations that vets and staff are overcharging or that they don't care enough, and while typically that cannot be farther from the truth, this company is EXACTLY why more and more people feel this way. Your fur baby is nothing but a bottom line to this company! Goodvets wants to cram as many clients in a day as possible, and they don't care about delivering quality service like they used to even 6 months ago. If you care about your pets, follow your favorite doctor somewhere else. Goodvets is predatory!!!
We switched to GoodVets Germantown this past year and have been beyond impressed. Their communication, kindness, and level of care are truly unmatched. The clinic is spotless, and every single staff member we’ve interacted with has been professional, compassionate, and attentive. They respond quickly, follow up after each visit, and make sure our dogs are doing well every time. A few weeks ago, one of our dogs unexpectedly passed away. I rushed her to GoodVets hoping for emergency care, but she was already gone. The compassion and tenderness they showed us during that devastating moment was something we’ll never forget. They helped us handle the arrangements with care and even sent a handwritten card signed by each staff member expressing their condolences. We are so grateful to have found such a thoughtful and caring veterinary team. I can’t recommend GoodVets Germantown highly enough!
The good reviews are from when Dr Rachel and her team were there. They all left. The place is horribly disorganized, they are charging crazy and inconsistent prices (I was quoted $400 for X-rays, then as I got out my credit card, they changed it to $580). When I emailed, they didn’t respond. The staff who left were all so kind. The replacement staff leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t trust them with your beloved pups.
Words can’t expression the gratitude I have for the team at GoodVets! From the receptionist to the doctors, they are the kindest people! I unfortunately had three pets sick back to back, but thankfully all are either recovered or on the road to recovery! Kat and Dr Hendrix took amazing care of my Blanche would she quit eating and ended up having to have a feeding tube to get back on track (feeding tube was completed at Blue Pearl in Franklin). They checked in on her and made sure we were doing okay. Then my elder beagle, Scarlett, got a slipped disk and between Dr ORear and Dr Hendrix, she is doing much better even though she cannot understand she has to stop jumping on and off furniture (lol). Then most recently Dr ORear met with me and my elder German Shepard, Seymour. He was kind of limping around but he’s really dramatic so we weren’t 100% sure what was wrong. We tried supplements and pain meds but he wasn’t quite to where he would normally be so we scheduled an Xray to see what was going on. He was unfortunately diagnosed with arthritis, hip dysplasia and a partially torn acl. Dr ORear ended up proceeding with a shot in hip to see if that would help and he’s a new dog! Still limping around bc of the acl but he is definitely on the road to recovery. Thanks to the entire team at GoodVets for all of the care and love you have provided to my babies 🤍
GoodVets GT has taken such great care of our 12 year old Golden Retriever and 3 month old kitten, who are both terrified of the vet. They are patient, comforting and thorough with their evaluations, always giving us as much time as we need to ask questions. So, so thankful to have them in our community!
