Wife and I had a great experience here. We came for the Mole sampler, but we couldn't stop talking about how great the grasshoppers were. They were perfectly seasoned. The Moles were of course spectacular. Rich and complex, exactly what we were craving on a chilly wet evening. The facilities were outstanding and the service was great. It was a quiet night, but the atmosphere still felt warm and welcoming. I would have felt very comfortable bringing my little ones!

Here I bring you another very beautiful, traditional and unique place From Oaxaca, Mexico 🇲🇽. Today I visited La Guelaguetza, the iconic Oaxacan food restaurant in the heart of Los Angeles. Since 1994, this gastronomic temple has honored traditional cuisine with tlayudas, memelas, mole enchiladas, Oaxacan tamales, and even grasshoppers. You have to try the Tlayuda Guelaguetza with quesillo appetizer, jerky, and chorizo. Now, this is the only place where you can find pork cecina, delicious cafecito de la olla☕️😋 Everything here is really really Delish 💯👌🥹

I was visiting from out of town and asked someone I ran in to, where a good spot to eat was and she recommended this place. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was great, our server was awesome & attentive. I asked him a few questions about items on the menu and he was able to answer them without any hesitation. The plate I ordered was delicious, my drink was of the best I've ever had, and I loved the home made chips & mole, instead of the usual chips with salsa. I'm glad I found this place and definitely will be back if i'm ever in this area again.

Great food and atmosphere. Was busy but was able to get a seat at the bar. Had the Memela Sampler which was perfect for a meal. Be sure to add the guacamole and the sauces as they complement the memalitas perfectly. Plus a pint of Pacifico to top it off. Note the mole with the appetizer chips has a hint of chocolate which makes it hard not to finish.

They had a live band the night we had dinner here. Second time I’ve been here, and still no flaws that I’ve seen. We made a reservation for three at 7:30pm, we were sat right away. The mole was delicious, the service was fast and the staff had great energy. Definitely will visit when we’re back in LA
