I recently took possession of a guitar of genuinely admirable quality. The instrument itself is, in every respect, a credit to its maker. The circumstances of its acquisition, however, were rather less distinguished than one might reasonably expect when engaging at this level. The final charge exceeded the interweb display price by one hundred dollars, and despite clear indication that a case accompanied the instrument, its inclusion required a degree of discussion that felt unnecessarily prolonged. Upon arriving home, I discovered that the plastic tag and fastening tie had been left within the body of the guitar, an oversight that, while easily remedied, struck me as faintly discordant with the standards customarily observed in transactions of this nature. The premises conveyed an air of mild disorder, and staff attention appeared somewhat diffuse. An unrelated disturbance involving an unhoused individual on the sales floor further complicated what ought to have been a simple transaction. It should be stated, without reservation, that the guitar itself is excellent and brings considerable satisfaction. It is merely unfortunate that the experience of acquiring it did not display the same degree of care, composure, or finish. — Bartholomew Blaine
The manager of this store day in, day out is beyond top notch he conducts a level of service that you simply cannot fake, he is authentically caring to EVERYONE equally weather you're a big spender or just coming in to ask for a free pick he treats you with sincere respect and will help you with whatever he can. In addition he is equipped with an exceptional amount of knowledge and experience especially in the category of high end guitars ....his direction is one you can trust for an important purchase.
Good experience in terms of being able to try out guitar and there are many selections. The conditions of many guitars are not well maintained so check everything before you buy. Sometimes there are really good deals. In terms of service, staff will help you only if you walk to them and ask. Once you paid, they disappear. This happened to me many times. If your product was heavy/you need assistance after purchase, good luck trying to get them to help you.
Really good experience. Able to pick up almost any guitar and try it out! Acoustics are really my thing and there is a whole selection. I was able to play and try many that I had watched reviews on eg YouTube etc and really hone in on what I liked. Great stuff.
Always like dropping in when I am here. Got lucky parking just around the corner. Lots of guitars and basses, but as a drummer, it's great to have the entire 2nd floor dedicated to drums! Unfortunately, it seems like nobody is ever working up there to help out. I had some Q's about a few snare but it was a ghost town. The biggest gripe was some clown playing death metal loudly on a kit right next to the cymbal room. Not only could I not get inside without hearing this guy blasting, but I could not test any due to his volume. Note to staff - move that kit out of there. I sat down at a Bonham kit a few minutes later and this guy, who had stopped playing finally, started blasting and overpowering me so I left.
