I am new to Austin and accidentally got a less than awesome highlight at a different salon. I then reached out to Hair House and they connected me with Katie. She hooked me up! She completely corrected my previous highlight. The color looks amazing! I’ve been to her twice now and both times the color and the haircut are A+! She is also just a really fun and sweet person. Enjoyed every minute of my time there.

I got my hair transformed by the lovely Rachel, which I would HIGHLY encourage anyone to go to. She’s so personable and communicative. My hair was in such rough shape (like bleached at home and had 16 shades to it), and she was able to create an incredible transformation in one sitting. My hair is in a much healthier shape. I’ve gone back to her and will continue to! She’s given me the perfect hair and confidence along with it. She’s also such a light and ensures you are comfortable throughout the process. I highly recommend!

I don’t know what to think of this place. This place was highly recommended, and all the great reviews….. But a properly done “balayage “ should never look this stripy. I also asked for “no brassy” but I can’t stop seeing anything other than brassy. And the cut was supposed to be just past my shoulder, but I feel like I’m missing half my hair on my head. It’s been a while since I had it this chopped up. While I was running 20min late due to work, I called to make sure they had enough time to work on my hair. Else, I was happy to reschedule as I don’t believe in rushing when getting your hair done. I don’t think it was rushed and the stylist was very nice and pleasant, but it just did not turn out as great as I thought it would be especially at their price point.

I have gotten my hair done here by Katie Davis several times now, and she always does a fantastic job! I have naturally dark brown hair and she consistently gets my hair lightened perfectly, with the best tone to suit my skin color. Katie is an amazing stylist who knows what she’s doing, and I truly look forward to my appointments with her. Highly recommend her and this super cute salon!

I had a hair color disaster when I went to a stylist for full highlights and ended up with orange, streaky, highlighter-style strips that didn’t even go to the roots—exactly the opposite of what I asked for. See the 2 before photos. Desperate for a fix, I found Magdalena, and she was an absolute godsend! Though she was fully booked, she managed to squeeze me in and completely transformed my hair with a flawless color correction. Honestly, this is the best my hair has looked in at least a decade! See the 2 after photos. I was treating myself to a new mom makeover before giving birth in a week, and thanks to Magdalena, I’ve been feeling more beautiful than ever. I’ve been getting nonstop compliments all week. If you need a stylist who truly listens and works magic, she’s the one!
