Happy bunnies has been a wonderful, clean and safe environment and learning experience for my daughter. I brought her here for the convenience of my work and schedule a flexibility which, if you are looking for something that is flexible, this is the place you need to check out. Magdalena was incredibly sweet and willing to do what it takes to make sure she helps you the best way she can. She is a hands-on director and is involved in everything when it comes to the center and children. All of the staff and teachers are hands-on and help out around the best way we can for each other this is a community oriented facility. Thank you so much happy bunnies for everything you have done for my daughter!! 10/10
Our daughter was going to Happy Bunnies before she graduated to elementary school. She started there when she was around 2.5 yrs old and had an amazing time with great teachers and friends and learnt a lot. The school has been a second home for her and the Principal has been an amazing support too. She and the teachers are very patient, accommodating and always open to feedback. They keep parents updated through Brightwheel app and respond quickly to questions and requests made through the app and phone as well. They let kids be kids and understand that every child and their needs are unique. My daughter transitioned very well to their school and the teachers also helped with transitioning her seamlessly to the elementary school schedule. We still visit them to say hello and always feel welcome there. You can tell that they aren't just there as a business, they really care about the children and work with parents to raise well rounded children. The Principal is very knowledgeable about child development, easy to talk to and makes you feel like you can talk to her about anything! A child of our friends has also been going to this school. Inspite of not knowing much English when the child had joined Happy Bunnies, she is doing really well now thanks to the help and love from the teachers. We have been blessed to have found this school and wish them all the best!
Our daughter attended this school from the time she was just 4 months old until our family had to move to Michigan, and I can say without a doubt that this was the best decision we ever made for her care. The director and staff are more than just caregivers; they are true partners who are deeply invested in the children and their families. They treated our daughter as a unique individual, not just another child. They knew her favorite things, her little quirks, and always greeted our entire family by name. It was clear that the children there are not just a number or a dollar amount—they are genuinely loved. This school was a lifeline for us. They were instrumental in helping our daughter reach her milestones and provided incredible support to our family during difficult times. As a parent, safety is the number one priority, and I always had complete peace of mind. The facility is secure with cameras, and the staff is incredibly attentive to both the children's needs and parents' concerns. Leaving this school was one of the hardest parts of our move. If you are looking for a place where your child will be safe, cherished, and nurtured, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I would like to warn other parents from having them children be in care of here. I pulled my kids out within 60 days. Would have been a lot less than that but per policy I have to give more notice. With my oldest who I took out with a few weeks. We told all staff that he was autistic and non verbal. We were told that there were trained on the basics of having children on the spectrum. Which was not true so we pulled him immediately. Then our middle child all of a sudden started coming home very angry and hungry. His lunch box and snacks unopened and untouched. They never helped him with his things even when he asked. They gave me ‘there’s too many children for us to help them all’ A parent told me that they don’t refrigerate the kids food. They leave them in their bags for them to grab them during lunch. So all of the fruit and veggies are sitting in a warm bag for hours. My middle child all of sudden started biting and being very aggressive at home. Telling me and his dad that kids would hit him and bite him first and that when he would so the same thing back, only he would get in trouble. The cleanliness is extremely concerning. The trash is always overflowing, kids walking about with poopy diapers, sticky wet tables and floors. Attached is how many times we were warned about Hand Foot and Mouth. Three separate dates. If their cleanliness was up to date, kids wouldn’t be getting sick every week. This is my first day care in this state, I’ve never encountered such cleanliness problems until now. My kids are sick every week like clock work. This never happened at other facilities The security is non existent. I can bet you any dollar amount, you can go in at any random day, the front door will be open and both doors to access the kids rooms. Today’s day and age where kids are dying in schools, you would think the director would be more concerned about security. There’s been two teachers in less than 60 days that have left. They will hire someone else and not tell them whose kid is who. I went to go pick up my kids multiple times and not having any clue who the new teachers were. No introduction and didn’t ask me questions when I picked them up. Extremely dangerous, I could have been anyone coming in grabbing a child. Also for security reasons there should be a heads up on new people that’s hired and they should know parents faces and names. My middle childs teachers are never there so I never got to hear about his day. It’s very rarely documented. Even though when we toured, we were told pictures and videos every day, what they ate exactly, what times and potty changes etc. The first two weeks yes we received that, then they got lazy with it. Only when asked is when things would change for a few days, then they would go back to their original ways. Our middle child was recently diagnosed with autism and adhd, again none of his teachers, assistant manager or director was ever able to receive it because they’re never there. They never answer the phone, text or email. Lastly, losing property. I’ve had to replace now two pairs of shoes. They ‘lost’ a left croc of my youngest and the left of his adidas shoe. Saying there’s no way it could be there, even though it’s pictured him not wearing it in the middle of the day and a hour earlier with it on. Thankfully, my case worker is refunding me the money from the last payment to this place to replace both pairs. I really hope this place gets it together.
Happy Bunnies has been an absolute blessing! We moved to the area on very short notice but Magdalena and the team welcomed us & our 2 year-old son with open arms. Fast enrollment period and my son comes home happy everyday sharing all the fun activities his teachers had for him. The team is super responsive and we were introduced to Brightwheel (Happy Bunnies' daycare communication app) and appreciate the transparency. They update it consistently throughout the day, making us feel like we are always in the loop. Whether you are moving to the area or are a local looking for child care, you can't go wrong with Happy Bunnies!
