I received three services at my latest visit and all of them were spectacular. Dulce is an incredible massage therapist. My knots are gone and I think I lost a dress size from the lymphatic drainage. 10/10 no notes. Victoria did my manicure and she has such a gentle touch that I think I fell asleep at one point. The gravity chairs, white noise, and eye mask put me into a state of relaxation I have never felt while getting my nails done. And when it was over, my nails were perfect. I splurged for the performance polish and so far so good. Last was my facial with Monica. My poor husband has to hear me rave about how good my skin looks every time I pass a mirror. I am sensitive to certain ingredients and she took extra time to make sure I would not have any issues. Overall every service provider I had was above and beyond kind and seemed to really enjoy what they do. Now on to the facilities. I have seen several reviews criticize the cleanliness of the locker room and waiting area. I was there for about four hours and saw both areas before and after attendants came through. Yes, there will be a few cups and robes left out after several services end all at once BUT the attendants were quick to get in there and clean up. I was very impressed by the number of people they have working just to keep the place clean.
Hiatus used to be a really nice spa. A few years ago this place was luxurious and the services and experience were worth the price tag. I went for the first time in a few years and was completely thrown off. The place is dirty hair on the floor in the check-in area and lounge area. The locker room is extremely overcrowded, and they’re clearly booking way too many services at once. The lounge and locker rooms were so packed that it felt chaotic, not relaxing. My facial was amazing! I had a massage after my facial that was not good for many reasons. My therapist had a bad cough and kept the lights on really bright? Overall, the entire experience felt rushed, messy, and nothing like the premium spa it once was. I looked it up and this spa was purchased by Private Equity a few years ago which makes SO much sense now! Sad, it’s really gone down hill like most places do when purchased! Should’ve known when they started offering a membership with no perks…
Such a mixed bag for what should be a 5-star experience, particularly given the prices! Went for a “spa day” with my spouse. The welcome and waiting area were lovely, robes were comfortable-it would be nice if they actually enforced “no phones” in the waiting area. Really kills the relaxing vibes when half the people have blue light streaming in their faces and in the room. My massage was lovely, and from the sounds of it, my spouse loved the facial treatment. He was certainly glowing afterwards. The mani/pedi experience was where things really fell apart. Not only was the “relaxing noises” in my headphones frantically jumping from one sound to the next, but after ~10 minutes it was playing ads. Are you kidding me?!? I asked my nail tech to fix it and she tried, but it didn’t work. After the second set of ads I gave up since it was just making me more annoyed. There were/are some bubbles in my performance polish, and now only four days later the polish is chipping. I expect more from a spa that’s charging premium prices.
I’ve been going to Amanda for body wraps for 3 years now, and it has truly been the greatest gift I’ve given myself. She is an absolute genius with her hands! Every single session, she goes above and beyond to spoil me and make me feel completely renewed. I always leave feeling like a brand-new woman, refreshed, recharged, and cared for in the best way possible. Amanda’s talent, warmth, and attention to detail are unmatched. I can’t recommend her enough!
The customer service at the front desk is the worst. I inquired about their availability on Saturday for a couple’s massage or an individual massage. She suggested I explore other options in other locations, which she sounded quite annoyed over the phone. My husband promptly called the spa using a different phone number and inquired about today’s availability. To my astonishment, she revealed that there were four spots available. I was deeply disappointed by her blatant lie. I had two massages here, and both times, the customer service was terrible. The spa locker room reeked of sewage, and the bathroom was filthy. They neglect to clean the slippers, simply returning it to clean shelf after each customer’s use, which resulted in fungal growth on my feet. This establishment is utterly unprofessional, with hair strewn across the floor. Surprisingly, I ended up with bruises on my body after the massage, an experience I’ve never had at any other spa. I strongly advise against visiting this place. As a local guide, I can confidently say that it’s not worth the money.
