We used Holly Tate Fine Catering for our wedding on 11/1, and they were truly exceptional from start to finish. Food was one of the most important elements for us when envisioning our wedding, and Holly Tate delivered tenfold. Our guests have not stopped raving about how delicious everything was - we’re still getting messages weeks later! We served a bourbon maple–glazed grilled salmon and rare prime rib, along with family-style sides of baked macaroni and cheese, green beans with Meyer lemon vinaigrette, sweet-potato mash, and a medley of roasted vegetables. Every single dish was incredible - perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Holly & John Tate, Chef Ben, Heather, Charlotte, and the entire team were outstanding. Chef Ben delivered an unforgettable meal; the waitstaff and bartenders were kind, attentive, and professional; and Heather / Charlotte, the main coordinator, continually went above and beyond. Heather took note of our preferences, anticipated our needs, and made the experience seamless. We were also incredibly appreciative of John Tate, who helped us determine alcohol quantities and selections even though we purchased our own alcohol separately. That level of support and generosity speaks volumes about the kind of company they are. Holly Tate Fine Catering played a huge role in making our wedding so special. Everything was delicious, thoughtfully executed, and delivered with genuine care. We are so grateful we chose Holly Tate to cater our wedding in Winston-Salem!
I can not speak highly enough to the professionalism and superb service of Holly Tate Fine Catering. I am a venue owner and have worked with caterers from all over NC. I am excited to add Holly Tate to my Preferred Vendor List. I was impressed by the amount of staff that accompanied the team, not to mention the fact that the chef and other lead members were present for the duration of the event. The kitchen was left in pristine condition! The FOOD was honestly amazing and the beef, so tender! I am beyond excited to have this new resource to provide my clients.
I highly recommend Holly Tate Fine Catering! The food was phenomenal!!! The service and staff are incredible!!! We were delighted to have the Tate Team cater our daughters wedding on April 13th. Our guests are still raving over the "BEST wedding meal that we've ever had!!!" Heather and staff went over and beyond, ensuring that every detail of the meal was perfect. I wish that I could give them 10 stars!
Working with John and Holly was an absolute pleasure through and through!! Throughout every aspect of the process, I felt as though Holly, John, and their staff went above and beyond. The Holly Tate Team was an absolute dream to work with. Not only are the people behind Holly Tate's Fine Catering amazing but the food is also absolutely out of this world amazing. It was hands down the best food at a wedding I have ever had. Their food also blew our guests away, the whole night we got so many compliments on how the food was absolutely incredible. One of my aunts who was in the wedding planning business in California for 30 years said it was hands down the best food at a wedding she has ever had. I would hire them again no questions!!! :)
My company has hired Holly Tate Catering for our large home furnishing events over the last 10 years. We love their staff and appreciate the manner in which they set up and clean up. My staff does nothing to serve 125 - 250 customers as Holly's team takes care of everything. It is a dream to work with them. They are creative in their menus and the cuisine is some of the best food I have ever eaten. We get compliments after every event. Many if our customers have also started using Holly Tate for their corporate needs. It is an amazing company with very quick responses and the flexibility to handle our out of the box requests. I would highly recommend Holly Tate Catering.
