We spent hours digging and looking through the entire store. Nothing was properly labeled, found it to be very confusing to know what costed what. Then we would ask different employees throughout the store for clarity only to get bad attitudes and unhelpful responses. Saying that everything is labeled… which it definitely isn’t. Easily overwhelming poorly sorted, and we ended up finding around 10 cutouts from different magazines and it ended up being a total of $48… so after all of the digging and pushing through to find semi-decent items, we walked out empty handed and with the employees arguing with us for feeling confused. Mind you… they were selling picture books for well over the asking price at your general target or Walmart. Definitely a waste of time. Don’t go even if it seems cool… not worth it!

Hunt and Gather is an eclectic thrift store with a huge mix of items, ranging from genuinely great finds to things that clearly should’ve been left behind. You’ll see plenty of older, vintage-style pieces mixed in with some surprisingly brand-new items, which makes browsing interesting. That said, this is not a place for anyone who wants organization or quick shopping. Nothing is really sorted, so you truly have to hunt. You’ll need time — and patience — to dig through different areas to uncover the good stuff. It’s also important to look carefully at anything you’re considering buying. Damage isn’t always obvious at first glance, and some items being sold are honestly closer to trash than treasure. Don’t expect much, if any, help from staff. During my visit, assistance was minimal and staff presence was limited. Overall, this place can be worth it if you enjoy digging, don’t mind chaos, and are willing to carefully inspect items. If you’re short on time or want a more curated thrift experience, this probably isn’t the right stop.

Hands down the best antique store I have ever visited. Very densely packed with some really unique items. Hundreds of prints, albums, tchotchkes, jewelry, dishes and pretty much anything else you can imagine. They have the biggest collections of stereoscope prints I have seen in one place. If you like antiques, art, oddities, or just looking at neat stuff, it is a must stop.

My father in law gave us a gift certificate to this place and it was such a fun and fascinating visit! I could spend an entire day sifting through baubles and bins, looking for treasures and trinkets. They have an entire lot outside filled with primarily letters from commercial signs of all shapes and sizes as well as larger things like cabinets, jars, metalworks, etc. We took home a wonderful cement turtle pained sparkling green. He lives on our garden now and his name is Franklin. 🐢 Some smaller finds were some anatomical postcards, a pearlescent seashell, and several tiny bottles of various powder pigments. The staff was friendly and helpful and were very cool cats. 😎 I must go back as I have barely scratched the surface of what is to be unearthed in their vast collections. 10/10 Perfect for those who are searching for a unique piece for their home and curio cabinet!

Very cool and unique shop, with a very wide variety of items. Lots of vintage stuff, it seems, everything from books and magazines, to art sketches and postcards, to clothing, to furniture and decors, to glassware and dining sets, and a lot more. The space is MUCH larger than it may first seem! It's a real joy to browse and see what you come across. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, has a pretty nice clean restroom.
