DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Vet missed a diagnosis on my cat who had cancer and passed away. It couldve been caught by this vet as we paid for extensive testing and bloodwork done but was told she was 100% healthy. 2 months later she has now passed away to cancer and new vet claimed she had it for multiple months. If you want your animal to die and not get the help that it needs then this is the place.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!!! That vet doesn’t know what she is doing at all! My cat Scoobie went to be neutered and she was fine when she went in. I come to get her and her head was bent backwards. We believe she gave her too much anesthesia. She is all about money just wants more and more money. After she did that to Scoobie she was dumb enough to think I would pay her more money. She also likes to argue with people. Scoobie passed hours after leaving this clinic. Mrs. Jackson is the worst vet I have ever seen!
As a business owner myself, I do not like to leave bad reviews. However, I also believe in honesty and I appreciate honest reviews. We have used Huntsville Animal Clinic for about 3 years now. My dog was knocking at death’s door - even after visiting the ER vet after hours. Huntsville Animal Clinic “worked me in” knowing I had an emergency - told me to be there at 10:30am but did not see me until 12:40pm. Dr Jackson identified the issue quickly - especially after the bloodwork came back. Dr Jackson went over the “total” price with me and then decided to change it, to add more stuff. I had to leave my 13 year old baby dog there with them for an IV and other treatments. When I came to pick her up at 5pm, like they told me to, my husband and I waited 45 minutes. The dr walked another patient out and spoke with the owner so, naturally, after referring to my baby as “critical” I just knew she would become out and speak to me. Jessika told me I owed another $41 (I can’t even tell you for what) on top of the $820 I paid them earlier that day. The vet tech finally walked my baby dog out, holding her little 8 pound self at waist level cradling her on her back (she hates that, like most dogs) and just flopped her into my arms. She wasn’t strong enough to even hold her head up and her poor little head just flopped onto my arm. Keep in mind, they had labeled her critical and she had been there all day. He knew her situation. Then the tech just walked off. I stood there for a moment and the vet never came out to speak to me. I took her in a few days later to have a catheter taken out of her arm. Never saw the vet. She had run out of one of her medications, so I asked Jessika if she needed more. Jessika asked if I wanted to wait to see the vet and I said yes. No one was there in the lobby, now that doesn’t mean there weren’t drop off pets in the back… After waiting for an hour I told Jessika to call me with the answer to my question. I called three times that day after I left. She didn’t have an answer and kept telling me she would call me back. At the 5pm phone call I placed, she told me she would call me back in the morning with an answer. I’m still waiting on that phone call. I have since found another vet. TLDR: HIGHLY do not recommend. Find another vet. This one seems to be all about the dollar bills.
The entire staff here is the Best. The Vets, the Techs and Office Staff are very kind and gentle and care about the Health of my little doggie "Alexis Marie". Can't say enough about Dr. Pearlman and the care he has given to Lexie.
We just adopted Betsy and she was taken here to get fixed. We have returned twice since and all 3 times the vet assistants and front desk personnel were very kind, helpful, and thorough. The veterinarian there (pardon me for not catching her name) is very friendly and genuine. You can tell she really cares for animals and their owners. We will switch our other 2 dogs and 2 cats to this vet office. Keep up the great work!
