Quiet, clean and has all the equipment that I need to have a good workout the whole staff are very helpful and great customer service. Antonio the manager. Goes above and beyond to help you out. When you have issues with your account I just wish the gym was open. A little later on the weekends. And we love the protein shakes. They are very affordable and delicious after a workout
InShape has gone downhill so badly since they switched over from CalFit. They cut corners, take away amenities from both members and staff, increase the cost of the membership while decreasing staff pay, cut classes etc. The management is horrible and has no idea what they are doing. It's like one manager for 300 staff, which is insane. They don't care about the member experience at all anymore. It's all about greed and money. Sad to see it downhill because this used to be a nice gym. Everything is a cash grab, they're constantly looking for ways to price gouge members, and if you have a customer service issue there's no one that you can get ahold of... no way to speak to a human anymore etc. Their main focus is on expanding and not on quality. They don't even care if long time members cancel the memberships because they know they'll have enough money from the other clubs. And money is all they care about.
While I’ve appreciated being part of the gym community, several ongoing issues have made it difficult to justify continuing my membership. The locker room situation has been consistently frustrating. Only a limited number of lockers are fully functional—many are either permanently locked open or have dead batteries. On more than one occasion, my belongings have been locked inside due to battery failure. At any given time, it seems that at least 25% of the lockers are unusable. Additionally, maintenance of gym equipment is far too slow. For example, the chest fly machine has been out of service for over six weeks with no visible updates or timeline for repair. Extended downtimes like this make it difficult to maintain a consistent workout routine. Lastly, the increased parking rates have made the total cost of attending the gym unsustainable. With rising parking fees on top of the high monthly membership dues, each visit ends up costing significantly more than expected. Given these issues, I’ve decided to end my membership
Had a blast this morning working out first time downtown. The gentleman that checked me in was wonderful and the entire experience was great. So much variety of weight machines on different floors. My only complaint is the parking validation is only 90 minutes and I really wanted to workout a little more than an hour so I felt myself rushing at the end..
Where is everybody? Is Jim is beautiful and I love the rooftop basketball court. I wouldn’t say it’s competitive, the floor is made up of these tiles that does not exactly simulate a realistic basketball court. Still enjoyed it, though. Playing basketball with a view is very hard to find. The white room was super clean, and well organized. I believe they have complementary towels you can use while you’re here, and I thought the locker rooms and bathrooms were very nice and clean.
