The optimist Jane was helpful and attentive with my prescription but one of the staff here was extremely rude to me when I came back to change my prescription within 90 days as I was having increased headaches and nausea even after several weeks of trying the first prescription. She was pretty adamant that I must be doing something wrong and talked down to me. I did eventually get the prescription changed but I really didn't appreciate that kind of treatment when I was simply trying to get help on the issue. I can't really recommend this place.

Jane Hafen has a lot of work to do on her bedside manner and perhaps needs to take an anti-bias workshop so that she can improve the way she serves Black patients.During my eye exam, she kept implying that I didn't take of myself, and that I am probably diabetic (which I am not). It was so insulting. In a recent experience, I attempted to go in with a friend to help her pick out frames. I was told I could not stay in the store and needed to find a place around the corner to find a seat. I guess no more than 4 people can be on the floor at a time??? It was the way in which I was told to leave. It was so humiliating. The staff rushed my friend to find frames and she left without a purchase. I wish Jane took these complaints seriously and worked to correct them instead of making excuses. .

Dr. Hafen has been a wonderful Optometrist to me for over 12 years. Very professional, generous with her time, and up on the latest in eye health and medical technology. Her staff is always gracious and efficient. She worked with me for months to get a difficult correction for contact lenses and for my eyeglass Rx, to get me better vision. When I've needed referrals, she's found top-line specialists to work with for my keratoconus. She also knows the ins and outs of insurance, to make these services most cost-effective for the patient. She'll go over and abpve to keep your eyes healthy, and she's a lovely person to work with.

I have been going to Dr. Hafen for the last 5 to 6 years, she's wonderful, so thorough, personable, uses the latest equipment and really spends time on my annual exams. Her staff are equally wonderful! I was there two days ago and brought my baby girl with me, she wasn't making the visit easy and Dr. Hafen was incredibly patient allowing me time to calm her so we could finish my exam, thank you Dr. Hafen!

Dr Jane Hafen is very knowledgeable and doesn't hesitate to share her knowledge when I asked her questions regarding the various tests she performed on me as well as some regarding glaucoma. She is also very kind and understanding, something i respect in a doctor.
