My family and friends were in town for the Indianapolis Colts game and decided to go to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The museum is amazing, there is so much to see and do. On display is every car that won the Indy 500, there's a section for children with car simulators, and we did a tour that was informative and exciting. Everything was very clean and organized.

Even though it was pouring rain we did the track tour (leaves every 15 minutes) which includes a stop to give you an opportunity to KISS THE BRICK. The tour was AMZINGLY informative. Unfortunately the museum is CLOSED till Spring for renovations, but as we were snow birding our way to Florida, we would not have time to spend 1/2 day + at the brick yard. A MUST SEE for any race fan & I HOPE to be able to do the 10 + trip down 1 day to attend a main event. - SPA007

The golf cart tour is most definitely worth the time and money for anyone that loves racing (or likes history). Our guide Steve was both knowledgeable and personable. His passion for the track was quite evident.

Just out sight seeing & had no idea they did tours. They have several different types & prices ranges. You can buy tickets online or there. We took the shorter 30min- $15 bus tour. They have a few different ones that are determined on if the track is being used or not. Track was being used this day so the tour took us to the tall building where the start & finish is. You actually get to go inside on several floors & they were testing cars so able to watch some race around. Tour guide Bob was super knowledgeable & very nice. The museum is closed but they still have a gift shop open.

Review for the "kiss the bricks" tour. Awesome experience even for a casual fan. You get to do a lap on the track in a small bus and have the opportunity to kiss the bricks yourself. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The museum is closed for a while, but this is a great option if visiting the area (tour schedule available online, and the gift shop is open). You buy your tickets there (next to the gift shop - $15). Their website said to possibly email/call beforehand, but if a good day - no need. I just showed up and was on a tour within 20 - 30 mins (what everyone was doing).
