I dropped off a banjo for an estimate for a string replacement, tune and bridge repositioning, got and estimate for a head tightening, and a separate one for a full set up, but not a simple one for what I asked for, so my husband went in seeking a detailed explanation as we are both new to this instrument, the guy at the counter pulled a guitar off the wall and stared talking about shaving down the frets and the bridge and it just seemed like a really poor explanation for general string instruments, so he went in at a different time hoping a repair person was there to explain but was told he’d have to make an appointment for that so he took the banjo to a different place within the same hour and was given an an honest estimate and explanation. We will not be back to this store.

I picked up my son’s rental clarinet today and it was a great experience. The website made this whole process super easy. The front desk staff was super friendly. Jesus, a music teacher, came out and taught my son how to put the clarinet together- he demonstrated a lot of patience and knowledge while assisting my son. I was very impressed. Thanks guys!

My go to store for all things musical. This was my 3rd saxophone purchase from them and I am thrilled as always. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I let them know I was coming to try out a horn and was greeted at the door and immediately shuffled off to a practice space to test what is now my new Yamaha Custom EX alto sax. They are the only shop I trust with my vintage Mark 6 alto as well. Kudos to Jesus, Jacob and the rest of the crew for superior communication!

First time in the shop. I came by to pick up a sustain pedal for my keyboard. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were quick to show me what I needed and also didn’t rush me into anything! They were also eager to show different instruments, devices, and doo hickeys. Which was cool seeing what else they had! The pedal works great and was a good price! Will definitely be back🤝

Whether you’re a pro shopping for new toys or a student wanting lessons, the Instrumental Music Center has you covered. I received a cheery welcome the minute I stepped in and really liked the local vibe (including the murals) — it’s the kind of place where you feel the friendly, personal touch that goes into customer service, and it’s easy to see how they’ve built such a sterling reputation over the course of two decades in business.
