I’m extremely impressed with the shuttle service. I am attending a conference this week and planned to walk from the Frontrunner to the building, about a 15 min walk. I started out on my walk the first day, unaware of the shuttle service, and the shuttle driver pulled up next to me and asked if I wanted a ride to the campus and asked which building I was going to and took me there. The shuttle was also very quick to arrive when I called at the end of the day and the driver was nice and we had a fun conversation. The next day the same driver the morning before was also there and he waited for both trains (north and south) to arrive before leaving. The next couple days I had a different driver, but I was still super impressed that on the second day he didn’t even need to ask where I was going, he just took me there! This service has definitely made my week less stressful. I also love the upbeat music playing in all the shuttles.
I wanted to get on here and say a name that helped me out with outstanding service. However. Everyone i dealt with with was so amazing, that I can't single anyone out. The staff here are outstanding. I came from 2 hours away in Wendover to this campus. And I will do so again for other health needs. Hands down rivals the U of U hospital and primary children's. The staff was there for us every step of the way with a smile. Also the food available was the best I've ever had at a health facility. 5 stars all the way around. Simply Outstanding!
I had a surgery done here and had to stay overnight and the staff was amazing! EVERY single person who helped me with the recovery communicated really well on what they needed to do, they were so kind, amazing to just talk to and very personable! I was very anxious about having to stay the night but they made it so easy and relaxing for me that I even considered if I should stay another night! The food was wonderful and a great variety! It was delivered to the room pretty quickly and it was easy to order! Amazing staff! Every single one of them!! Thanks guys for all your help! No offense, I hope I never see you again, but if I need to then I know I'll be taken care of and will love seeing your smiling faces again!
I happen to be at Salt Lake when I got an injury ended up in the ER. Worst care ever they let you sit there in pain for hours barely giving you anything. I understand if they have drug seeker’s all they have to do is call your previous doctors. Or your primary care doctor and verify who you are. Doesn’t take a whole lot even if you do show Up with a ripped off body part, you would think some pain consideration would be in order regardless of who you are I will never go back to that hospital ER. I’ll always have to get myself driven to Ogden. Even if I die on the way They have the best Hospital I wanted to update this post to state it is for the ER department I’m sure they have great doctors but unfortunately 1 department shortcoming’s end up the whole hospital’s downfalls
My experience with the ICU staff at this hospital was absolutely unacceptable. Instead of receiving the compassion and professionalism that anyone would expect during such a critical time, my family and I were treated with disrespect and indifference. The lack of communication was shocking — we were constantly left in the dark, and when we tried to ask questions, the staff acted irritated and dismissive. It felt like they judged us for caring and wanting answers about my condition. The way they spoke to my family was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. We were made to feel like a burden, not like people who were going through a stressful and emotional experience. There is no excuse for treating patients or their loved ones this way, especially in the ICU where emotions are already high and support is desperately needed. This hospital needs to seriously address the behavior of its ICU staff. No one should ever feel belittled, ignored, or disrespected during a medical crisis. There are many other choices for hospital in the greater area and I would choose to take my self or loved one to them instead.
