I will keep this review to the facts. I took my vehicle in to be assessed, identifying that my vehicle made (makes) an undeniable rattling sound when the vehicle would start and also while the vehicle was being driven. After the assessment, Jack's auto repair quoted me a cost, and I agreed to that cost. Less than a month after picking up my vehicle, the same rattling had returned. I then took my vehicle in and let them know that I was experiencing the same issue (rattling when I'd press the accelerator). A week later, I'd called for an update to which I was "assured" that after the vehicle had been driven by technicians "both on the highway and on business streets that the sound could not be reproduced nor witnessed" (almost verbatim) while they drove it. I picked up the vehicle only to hear the rattling within less than 5 minutes of leaving the lot. Even upon bringing the vehicle back, I was able to witness the technician actually hear the actual noise that I brought my vehicle in for initially. After they'd kept the vehicle again to "look at it", I was basically told that "they couldn't find anything wrong with the timing issue" that they resolved but nothing of the symptom that I bought my vehicle in for the first place? Again, the facts--- $4K later, I'll be taking my vehicle to another mechanic to see about having my issue resolved. I actually spoke to the owner--Mr. Jack, and he did convey that if there was anything wrong with what they did, that I should bring my vehicle back--at that point, I'd brought my vehicle in 3x and was experiencing the same issue (and did not have an official diagnosis of the issue). Lastly, I'd like to add--I respect businesses in a sense that they provide a service, and I aim to compensate for that service for quality work and well their time. However, it's disheartening to miss time away from work and throw money at an issue and still be dealing with said issue 6 months later. There are no rebuttals that I'll entertain to this review/my experience.
Took my 2012 Volkswagen cc into the shop for coolant leak jack told me it was my water pump would cost me around $1150 to replace I said go ahead get it done. Had my car back for around 4 months now and leaking coolant again this time I took it to the Volkswagen dealership they said buddy you need a water pump the shop you took it to only change the seal not the pump and we know this because the water pump part number is the same as the number on the motor block meaning this is the original pump that came on the car I called jack he tells me the car he had work on it must of lied to him about doing the work !!!!! And he won’t give me my money back even with a Volkswagen dealership telling him this information
Had a major coolant leak on my 2004 Chevy Express Van. Dropped my vehicle off at noon and the by 3pm my vehicle was repaired. I had a bad water pump. Repair cost was on the lower end of the Google repair cost. I would recommend this place. I'm back to edit. Last week(Sep 8-9) I took my van back in to have the Power Steer Pump and ABS Valve and Module replaced. Again, very quick same day turn around! Jack found me a used ABS Valve / Module for $225 in comparison to $1100 for a new one. The weekend After the repair I had a very soft brake peddle. I took the van back in on late midday Monday (after telling them i would drop it off tuesday morning) and by 230pm it was fixed. Jack discovered that my rear driver's side brake caliper was defective. He replaced it for FREE! You do the math on that one(because i sure did)!!! If the repair job is too big for you and you know what's wrong with your vehicle get with these guys! Do your research and compare it to these guys i think they are fair priced with no bs!
Jack's Auto Repair saved me a lot of money by installing an oil pan that I purchased for my 2002 Volvo S40. If I had taken it to a Volvo dealership, the cost for parts and labor would be twice as much as what Jack charged. Plus, the work was done within 24 hours. My car no longer leaves an oil puddle when parked. 😊Having a team of qualified professional mechanics who take pride in their work, I can enjoy driving it without the worry of engine failure due to the loss of motor oil. Thank you, Jack.
So I read every review about this place and had concerns taking my car here, but I had a pretty solid experience. Jack seems to be a good man trying to take care of his family just like the rest of us. Hes working as hard as he can to keep his customers happy and im pleased with the service I received and I'll be returning soon to have more work done. Although I do still have a very bad squeeking noise and thats what I originally took it in for. They did tell me I needed new rotors and I didnt get the work done.
