They did a great job and completed the roof in a day. It is pricey. Actually, it’s well above average. The crew arrived early and ready to work as expected they were courteous and polite. They were willing to answer any questions. They also explained everything they found, all in all so far I’m satisfied.
Crew showed up early to begin work, but did not understand English. Crew leader who spoke English showed up around 9. The crew worked steady all day even through the afternoon rain. Came back the next day and finished the job in the afternoon. Roof shingles look good and appear to be good quality. I had solar panels removed 5 days before start of work. Erie supervisor told me he would come by to make sure roof was water tight in case of inclement weather. His visit never happened and would have helped me to be better prepared on install day. Overall installation went well and cleanup was good except for the ruts in the yard left by several vehicles.

We live in a seven-year-old home with builder-grade shingles and several installation issues. Our goal was to find a roofing material that would last a long time, maybe even outlast us. From the start, the process was incredibly smooth. The gentleman they sent to discuss options was knowledgeable and attentive. After considering our needs, we decided on a metal roof, which seemed ideal for our high roof and the potential for high winds and hail. Erie Homes excelled in communication throughout the entire process, even helping us navigate delays with our HOA. Once we received approval, they quickly scheduled the installation. The crew was outstanding—professional, efficient, and respectful of our home. They managed to install the entire roof in just two days without disturbing our leaf gutter filters. After the installation, they even conducted a post-install inspection to address any remaining questions we had. There was no pressure to choose from a limited selection; they offered various materials, but for us, metal was the best choice due to its durability and warranty. Our new roof looks beautiful, and we've received compliments from neighbors passing by! We couldn’t be happier with the product and the team in Virginia Beach. Really great work done, from signing the contract to the roof being done it took about 2 and a half weeks. The roof looks awesome and we live the 50 year warranty!
