An increasingly rare opportunity. A family business in the French quarter, continually operated since the late nineteenth century, offering antique weaponry and currency often in pristine condition. Visiting the store is an archaeological and anthropological experience in itself. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. Will certainly be back for more. (Photo from the storefront display)

Well if you're looking for antique firearms , or roman era coins or possibly even wooden prop propellers from an old plane that you never knew you needed, this is your spot!! For real the gents working here are knowledgeable and even a bit personable!! After dealing with a month of insanity and looky loos I'm guessing they are ready for a bit more down to earth customer!! I found a roman era coin, and 3 propellers and almost spent months salary on an old musket!! Still regretting not doing so!!! Royal St is where it's at for the antiques, well until u head out of New Orleans to pontchuran town or however u spell it....but that a different review!

We came across thisv place by accident. The signs and windows displays were interesting so we went in. True to the signs there were antique guns and edged weapons. Also money, coins, airplane parts and vinyl LPs. There were actually people buying things so we didn't stay long. An enjoyable discovery.

The selection of history both in New Orleans, weapons and coins gives it the feeling of a time machine letting you experience a blast from the past

Really well displayed and organized store. Nice selection of rare relics and artifacts for sale. If not for the gentleman at the front counter behind the storefront glass I would have gladly given 5 stars. He seemed disgruntled and irritated that I was there. There was only one other customer in the store that was being helped by a coworker towards the back of the store. I wanted to tell him if he was so unhappy to be there maybe he should find another career. Retail sales did not appear to be his forte. Tempted to leave one star, but I do realize that people can have an off day and I possibly caught him on a bad day. He just needs to realize that my time is every bit as important as his.

The owner is a know-it-all, who doesn't know it all. I would never purchase from this store.
