I had a lovely experience with my daughters. I just wish they had more vegetarian options. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. And I always love a restaurant in which the manager/owner comes around to greet you.
So it seems that San Antonio has a large Greek set of restaurants, which of course is perfect for me! I started with a cup of each of their Greek soups- avgolemono, flakes (lentil) and my dad’s favorite fasoul (bean). They were all very good except the avgolemono was barely warm. Next up was Horiatiki. It was solid but no green peppers only a pepperocini! Yuck! Then i got a bunch of big ala carte things: mousakka, pasitito, dolmades, grilled octopus and spanakorizo (spinach and rice) all very good but the grilled octopus was pretty much flavorless. No problem, I used the lemon sauce from the dolmades and also mixed it with the spanakorizo! Overall, excellent food but everything could have been hotter.
Wow! Great Greek food at a reasonable price. The food is excellent. They also have homemade desserts! Highly recommend. This place is authentic!
Wowww , what a Mediterranean gem I’ve found here! Authentic and incredibly tasty Greek food, with kind and warm service. The amazing music brings back memories of the bouzouki playing along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Yassou!
The lunch specials are wonderful! Good portions for a good price. Really enjoyed the salad, the soup and the gryo too… all for $12.99 at lunch. Flavorful and homestyle cooking. Looking forward to returning and trying more options.
