I am very satisfied with the service I received at John’s Automotive Care. Based on the diagnostic, they texted very specific information about the results, stating the components that were in good condition, issues that should be recognized and addressed in the future, and problems that should be addressed immediately. I felt that I could trust them, unlike my previous automotive business. Neill was very helpful and explained everything clearly. It was a pleasure working with him. I am definitely using John’s from now on.

I highly recommend John’s Automotive for everyone. I was delighted that they could service my new hybrid!!!!! Every employee is totally focused on your vehicle, your understanding of needed service and on your personal experience! After the first checkup at a dealership, which was supposed to be free, I drove by John’s to verify that they could service the hybrid. I felt welcomed home!

I would recommend this dealership to any and everybody. I can not say enough about these guys, my battery in my car died the day before I was supposed to fly cross country so I called the guys over at John’s auto to see if they could help. Not only did they help me they went above and beyond they drove out to me to jump my car and have me follow them to the shop. Then after getting there they diagnosed all my issues and even gave me a ride home. These guys are amazing people and do amazing work my car feels brand new after their service. Then to put the cherry on top I open my mail the other day and what do I find a personal thank you note from the owner of John’s and a $40 gift card for my next service. These guys have my business for as long as I am here in San Diego

I first spoke with Brian about the issues I was experiencing, and he took the time to walk through the possible causes. The problem involved the fuel‑air mixture, so it could have stemmed from several technical factors. He then referred the vehicle to Rick, who immediately took action. Rick performed a thorough series of diagnostics and pinpointed the exact issue. I appreciated the clear feedback he provided, along with additional recommended maintenance to keep the engine performing at its best. He also identified a few potential concerns that could affect future performance, which I found both helpful and professional. Their honesty, expertise, and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in their work. I highly recommend this business for anyone looking for knowledgeable and trustworthy automotive service.

I have been taking my cars to John's since 2017. Every time I've been there, I felt confident that my vehicle was in good hands. Recently I took my 05 CR-V in for an inspection and I was extremely impressed by the customer service provided by Dave and Rick and also the quality of the work performed by Ulisess. If you want to take your car to a place where you will be treated like family, then don't bother looking any further. These guys are constantly busy and they have absolutely no motivation to rip you off when they already have so much business as it is. And for that reason, sometimes it might take a bit longer than you prefer to get your vehicle back... but I promise you it's worth it, because they're making sure to do a great job with every car that enters their shop. These guys will NEVER try to upsale you on anything. They will ONLY tell you something needs to get done if it truly needs to get done. And if it doesn't need to get done any time soon, they'll tell you that it's safe to wait. Their inspection reports are thorough and honest. I know I will continue to come to this shop for as long as I live in southern California.
