Mike and the crew without an appointment answered my questions knowledgeably then offered choice of quality tires matched professionalism level service provided my vehicle between 40 to 60 minutes from greeting to completion. This 1st time customer felt valued, confident and plan to be a Discount Tires regular customer and because of this encounter I’m recommending that San Diego location to family members and friends.
I come here because it’s close to where I live and the staff is helpful and friendly. They recommend what is needed but never pushy. Sometimes it goes longer than the advertised time for a simple oil change, but that’s also dependent on the person ahead of the line. I usually like to get here when they open on the weekends, so I haven’t seen how things are at different times of the day. For me it’s usually an oil change. Sometimes it’s a tire rotation when I really need it. They have options for air filter change, windshield wipers, battery replacement, and a few more that I don’t typically get. Anyway, I’ve had good experiences here and at other locations throughout SoCal.
The rep assigned to my oil change was very professional and informative, communicating with me as soon as I arrived for service and got in line, and throughout the entire visit. He went through various checklists with me during the visit, even advising that in some cases no service appeared to be needed. There were no high-pressure sales tactics used, which I very much appreciated!
First of all I rarely spend over 100 bucks at Valvoline but, because BRYAN was absolutely amazing on handling his customers and myself I did that today! He is an absolute asset to your company. I watched him treat EVERYONE with respect as I waited for service! I watched him as he was extremely courteous and it made me want to express my gratitude for this extraordinary experience today. He was very helpful, I asked to see my transmission oil as it was changed today He made that happen. He was courteous to his staff today as well. He should have his own store if that location isn't his! I was very impressed 👏 👌!!! Hopefully this message gets to Andrew his supervisor because his supervisor needs to know and I want all of Valvoline to know he is definitely management material! Excellent customer service. Friendly and competent. Fairly quick. Filled up tires, checked fluids, and of course an oil change. Just over $100 with a free easy to redeem coupon from their website.
