I hired Jen to do makeup and hair for my wedding entourage and I'm so glad I did! Jen and her team kindly did hair and makeup for 8 of us the morning of my wedding. They were so friendly and fun to work with and we all looked amazing. I didn't want anything too heavy or overdone since I was getting married midday; I had friends who wanted a bit heavier of a look; and I have a 70 year old mom who just wanted to feel pretty. Jen and her team accomplished it all! And she was a dream to communicate with. I would work with her again!
Jennifer was absolutely amazing and I cannot possibly put into words how happy I was/am with the bridal hair and makeup she did for my wedding. She also did my mom’s hair and makeup and I honestly couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked. Jennifer was really easy to communicate with, and she executed the looks my mom and I requested perfectly! I didn’t have to touch up my makeup all day (I got married at 10am) and it lasted through the night. Another thing is that Jen’s prices were very fair compared to other quotes I got, especially considering she used clip-in hair (we brought our own) and applied lashes. We 100% recommend JT Artistry’s services.
I definitely recommend Jen 100%. She did such an amazing job doing my hair and makeup for my civil wedding. She delivered everything I asked of her on what kind of look I was going for. I sent her a couple of pictures/inspirations of styles that I liked and also mentioned some of my concerns: my hair lacks volume, my hair doesn't hold curls too well for too long, my face gets oily throughout the day, not a fan of heavy makeup but still wanted it to show through photos. My makeup was light but still showed and was intact the whole day with NO touch ups required (considering it was one HOT day and we had spent half of the time outdoors taking pictures), the volume and curls on my hair lasted until the morning after (which could have lasted longer but I had to shower and wet my hair already). I am overall completely satisfied and would go back if I ever needed to get my hair and makeup done again.
I booked Jennifer from JT Artistry for my SF City Hall wedding. My experience was great from the start. I live about 400 miles from where my wedding was taking place, so I was worried about how a trial run would work. We emailed back and forth discussing inspiration pictures, my dress, etc. She had mentioned having plenty of out of town brides and that the trial wasn't 100% necessary, but my nerves got the best of me, so I just booked a mid-week turn-around trip and scheduled the trial. I'm SO glad I did. My trial appointment was for 11am, and by late afternoon I realized the liquid makeup wasn't going to cooperate with my ridiculously oily skin. Plus, it just felt a little heavier than I was hoping for. I let her know all of my concerns once I'd gotten back home. She totally got me, and she decided we'd use airbrush makeup the day of the wedding. It turned out GREAT!! It was so natural looking and I didn't need any sort of blotting or touch-ups all day! I also found a new inspo pic for my hair long after the trial, showed it to her the morning of the wedding and she NAILED it. We took a 2 hour trolley ride around San Francisco after the ceremony stopping for pictures at various (windy) spots, and my hair 100% stayed put the entire time!
Jennifer was the sunshine on my big day! Not only did she make my entire bridal party sparkle, but she also did with a positive attitude and pleasant disposition. My bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning! From flawless skin to big Hollywood lashes, my best friends felt and looked absolutely gorgeous. Jennifer knows how to enhance all the right features while maintaining a very natural appearance. I would recommend her services to anyone, anytime, any place. Thank you again for making my wedding day so unforgettable and perfect!!!
