This was my first time visiting Keek’s Handbag Store; after seeing a couple of bags online that I wanted to view in person I decided to stop by. Unfortunately, the in-store experience was extremely disappointing. I browsed the store for about 10–15 minutes, making at least two full laps, and walked past multiple sales associates. Not one person greeted me, acknowledged me, or asked if I needed assistance. At least two of the associates walked by me more than once without saying anything. The store was pretty empty during my visit — just myself and maybe one other shopper — yet most of the staff were standing around the middle counter and still did not offer any help. As I was getting ready to leave, still without being acknowledged, I approached a sales associate to express my concerns. She only greeted me once I walked directly up to her. When I explained my experience, she apologized and said they were “busy,” which did not match what I observed. She then offered to help me look for a bag and gave me a card to email the manager. However, by that point, the interaction had already taken away from the experience, and I no longer felt comfortable purchasing anything in the store. I would genuinely rather purchase a bag at full price elsewhere than deal with the level of unprofessionalism and disregard I experienced here. As a black woman, I hesitate to assume motives, but it was difficult to ignore that when a white customer walked in to sell her bags, she was helped immediately. While I expect the store will respond with an apology — as that is the standard public response — the many other one-star reviews describing similar issues show that this is an ongoing problem that has not been addressed. I’m adding my experience so future shoppers are aware and can set expectations accordingly. Unfortunately, based on the consistent pattern, I do not expect anything to change.

First time here at Keeks and definitely will not be the last! I had such a great experience shopping at Keeks thanks to Macy and Tyson. Both of them were super helpful, patient, and really knew their stuff. They made the whole process easy and actually fun. Macy helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and Tyson made sure I understood everything about the bag and its condition before I bought it. If you’re looking for great customer service and people who genuinely care, definitely ask for Macy and Tyson. I’ll definitely be back!

sherryl was absolutely amazing!! me and mom both god some new handbags and she was so helpful and attentive with us. We were jumping all around the store and she just came and got everything we needed!! I love her and will for sure be back to get more bags!!!!!!
