Kentucky Collision provided outstanding service from start to finish. My Lincoln Corsair was rear-ended on Maxwell Street near Rose, and they had my vehicle for almost a month. Throughout the entire process, the communication, professionalism, and quality of work were exceptional. Jamie at the front desk was especially wonderful—always pleasant, informative, and proactive about keeping me updated. Every time I spoke with her, she made the process feel easy and stress-free. The woman who assessed my vehicle and prepared the damage estimate for insurance was equally impressive. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and helped guide me through the insurance process with confidence and care. The repair work itself was excellent, and my vehicle looks great. I truly felt taken care of, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kentucky Collision to anyone needing repairs.
Number 1: I had to pick a shop for vehicle repairs from a list from my insurance company. This one was first on the list. I did not know anything about this company. This review only pertains to customer service. They had my vehicle for about SEVEN WEEKS and the only time they called me was when the vehicle was completed. And that was one hour before closing time on a Friday. My insurance adjuster kept in touch with me but this place never bothered to contact me for, YES, SEVEN WEEKS. Yes, I could have called, but I'm not the one ordering parts and doing the repairs. How come no courtesy phone calls? Number 2: Before I picked up my truck, I called to asked if I could pay with a cashier's check. Maybe the guy misunderstood at first. I had to explain what a cashier's check was. He said okay. When I got there, some other guy said they only take debit or credit payments. I said the guy on the phone said I could use the cashier's check. This particular man repeated the only payment was credit or debit. My perception is that he said it in a kind of "smart-alecky" way. Anyway, come to find out later, there's TWO SIGNS IN THE WAITING AREA stating accepted methods of payment. Number two on the list...BANK CASHIER'S CHECK. So if this guy is in charge of anything, how come he does not know the accepted forms of payment. Also on the accepted payment list is insurance checks and money orders. Maybe others have had better experiences with this place. I think it is a chain-type store (more than one location). Me personally, I would not use this place again due to lack of professionalism.
Kentucky Collision Center, South Broadway just may be the best body shop in the Lexington area. Excellent work from reception to pick-up. First-class body work, fit to finish. Great communication and on-time delivery. Thank you KCC for excellent work!
Kentucky Collision Center exceeded my expectations in repairing our Model Y. As with many Teslas, certain repairs can take longer than hoped, and that was true in our case. However, the team kept us well-informed every step of the way and offered support whenever we needed it. Everyone I interacted with was kind, understanding, and genuinely committed to helping as quickly as possible. I highly recommend Kentucky Collision Center for Tesla repairs—or for any vehicle needs in general.
I have had both of my Mercedes repaired here because they contract with State Farm and they are Mercedes certified. They do great paint work but their execution is not good. I was in a fender bender and a new front door was needed. They told me 10 days. 4 weeks later I got my convertible back. It looked beautiful but when I drove it there was so much wind noise that wasn’t there prior to the accident. I took it back 4 times for them to get it right. It would maybe get a pinch better a time or two but sometimes it was worse. The guy who managed my car told me “sometimes people are a bit overly sensitive when they get their car back.” That really pissed me off and I didn’t go back. I took my convertible to James and had to fight with State Farm to pay out more money and I had to pay out some money too. James is not contracted for repairs with State Farm. The wind noise is gone now.
