I chose this shop because of their reputation for honesty and quality, but my experience didn’t match that. I went in for a thermostat replacement and was charged $475, including $280 in labor based on “book time”. However, after picking up my vehicle, I noticed the coolant reservoir was empty and had to refill it myself before driving. Since the level has remained stable, it raises concern that the cooling system may not have been properly filled or checked before returning the vehicle. That’s something I feel should be part of a completed repair, especially when dealing with engine cooling components. I’m sharing this so others double-check their vehicle before leaving after service

Genuinely the most professional and kind automotive repair techs I have ever met. Got me fixed up and on my way in less than 30 mins and wouldn’t accept money, thought I was going to have a 300-400 dollar problem on my hands. I can't find the right words to say to Angel and his crew.I had a accident in 2024 on man of war wasn't my fault I was sitting at a traffic light.i was rear ending by another car on his phone.No tickets no insurance so my van received a big hole in my frame and several dents due to the truck in front of me had a extended trailer hitch.Anyways I lost my air in this big mess.I didn't have enough money to fix the problem and saved my money due to the fact that another estimate said it would cost me around 2000.They wanted to replace radiator my 2 fans and condenser.I saw on line the reviews for Ricks auto and they were definitely Angels.I only needed one part and in all my days me and my grandkids suffered from the heat without air in spring and summer.So everyone this is my story sorry it's so long but I am more them blessed for Angel helping me out he truly is a a Angel and I believe in Angels and he is one of them.Now I have a problem with someone hitting my mirror on front of my house.I can't seem to get ahead Speed limit 25 pm my street Traveller road no one slows down .I received no note no one to let me know they hit my van.Thanks for listening to my story my only hope is pe to people will slow down and pay attention to there driving.I am from Illinois and never ever saw so many people not stopping at stop signs or runs through stop lights.
