Excellent time. Service was nice - tried very hard to keep up, place was a little understaffed. Food was authentically Sardinian which was awesome. Delicious seafood. Great time overall. Loved the food
Such a charming, cozy restaurant. It was my second time dining at this establishment. We started with melt in your mouth, not too salty, 30-month aged prosciutto platter and a superbly dressed burrata and arugula salad. We shared the lamb dish which served two of us well. The flavor was deep and rich. It could have used a little more, "au jus" so to speak, but was still quite good. Service was excellent. Our wine choice, Pinot Bianco A.A. “Schulthauser” San Michele Appiano, 2022 suited all the flavors on the table.
This was an amazing place to get dinner! The gnocchi was to die for! Best gnocchi I have ever had! We also had the uni pasta, the calamari, the lamb, and some gelato and ricotta for dessert. After the gnocchi, my favorite was the calamari and from the gelato I loved the goat cheese and fig flavor. The team was also so so sweet, from the host to our amazing server Vadim, who had such great energy, to even the owner who came out to ask us about our dining experience. We had such a great time here with such friendly, warm service. Definitely recommend having dinner here. One of my favorite Italian restaurants now. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Vadim and the team!
For the appetizer, we ordered Inzalaredda de Acciugasa e Arangiu, which paired perfectly with the bread. We also ordered Prupisceddu in Umidu cun Tomatiga, which was incredibly tender. Pasta Cruzza cun Arrizonis for the main course was very authentic, and eating it warm was a delightful experience. Pezza de Angioni a sa Saba was also very tender. The restaurant had a great ambiance, and the service was excellent!!!! ❤️
La Ciccia is one of our favorite restaurants in SF. We’ve been coming here a bunch over the past year and took our parents here whenever they are in town It's a small family style restaurant with a cozy vibe, and the service is always friendly We've tried pretty much everything on the menu at this point, and our favorite dishes are the roasted calamari, baby octopus stew, and oven roasted prawns. Everything is packed with flavor. This place is perfect if you like a little bit of spice in your dishes
