Guy on the phone was SO rude. Just hangs up. Terrible customer service.
What happened to great customer service? I just called to get pricing and the guy seemed rushed. I asked how to reserve tables and chairs and he told me I could do so over the phone or online. I said “okay thank you” (thinking I’ll go online and order after this phone call). However the guy just hung up. Proper ending to the call should be “ no problem, have a nice day” or even a simple “bye” you don’t just hang up on someone. While I’m sure they don’t care about this I’m still taking my business elsewhere.
Sep. 27, 2019: Revised my review. Joe did come through with a written bid and delivered the furniture exactly at the right time. Furniture was nice and clean. After our event was over he came back the same night at 11:00 P. M. to pick it up and paid him at that time. I guess he is not good in written communications but he delivered and charged as he had stated the first time that I had talked to him. I found out that he was the best choice. /The owner of the store Joe Martinez proved to be unreliable. A week earlier I called him to rent 3 VIP chairs & a table. He was very polite and friendly and told me that he will charge me $35/chair and a delivery and pick up charge of $25. I was o. k. with his price. I asked him to send pictures of the chairs and a table which he did promptly. Then I requested a written quote and he promise it for afternoon. Next day he said he'll send it tomorrow & so on and on. He kept making promises but never kept it. Finally only 2 days were left for our event and I was worried if he can't send me written bid then he may not show on our big day. Now he wasn't answering my calls & messages. So I called him anonymously & he answered right away but hung when I asked if he was going to do the job or not. He also blocked my number. I wish him well.
Ed & his Father were fantastic. I rented 200 chairs & 28 tables for my daughters wedding & reception. They showed up on time to deliver the items. This was great since we only had help for a certain period of the day. They dropped the product off on Friday at 4pm & picked up the product on Sunday at 10am. I was only charged for 1 day rental. Since I lived out of town, I did not have to meet them for the pick up. I would definitely rent from them again, if I have anything going on in the Sacramento area. Thank you again for everything you did for me & my family.
The store was recently moved from one location to another. Yes! I would give them thumbs up for finally organizing their store. But the customer service sucks. They claim to be in business for 18 years (according to the owner) but helping out the customers is not on the priority list. For the past 10 years, I've been shopping at their store and recommending their business to families/friends. I paid for the customized ribbons customized ahead as the policy requires at the store and the names were coming off the ribbons. My little sister picked up the ribbons and while putting on the party favors we discovered that names were coming off. I went back to the store to discuss and I requested if he could alter but he was going to charge $10 extra to change the color. Are you serious? I already paid $20 and now $10. Plus if you want within 1-6 days then need to up for expedite services.. Ah! I have to wait additional days just to wait for the ribbon and pay extra as well. At the end the ribbons would have cost more than the party favors.... HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! I'm never recommending anyone to this store.
