Very friendly and efficient staff. Communication over email was timely to schedule, they had an opening the same week. The exam was thorough. Dr. Wu is very friendly, takes her time with her patients and answers their questions. +1 for having re-usable laminated forms to reduce waste.

I love visiting Dr Serene!! She always gives me a through and efficient exam, but we end up chit chatting about the neighborhood and the community, too! He team is great and always helps me work through my insurance benefits so I'm using them to the max. They've made adjustments for the pandemic to keep themselves and patients safe and I feel very confident going there. Thank you, Lake Merritt Optometry!!!

Very friendly office, the staff were kind and helpful. The doctor made conversation with me while doing my eye exams, and later another staff helped me pick out my frames. She offered me several different styles and was upfront about prices. The only negative is that there was not a ton of variety of frames to choose from, but my insurance would not cover it anywhere else.

Enjoyed my experience completely. I had a Saturday appointment and took my 4 yr old. They were gracious and accommodating to the both of us. We left feeling very satisfied. The Dr. also explained how the type of insurance i had would get me XY&Z services so recommended i use them before the year was up because they were great benefits! Love my new eye Dr's!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was evident that she knows her job very well and does so efficiently. The doctor was very thorough during my examination. She also took the time to answer my many questions which made me feel confident that I was in good hands. Prior to Lake Merritt Optometry, I had my annual exams done by different optometrists simply out of convenience. They all did an adequate job, but none of whom left me thinking that I would go back to see them for my next exam. Although I also chose Lake Merritt Optometry out of convenience, I left the office knowing that all my future eye exams will be with them.
