Larson Tutoring & Test Prep provides personalized, one-on-one tutoring for students preparing for the ACT and SAT, with a focus on math, science, and English sections. Led by experienced tutors Abby and Brett, we offer flexible scheduling, clear communication, and proven strategies to help students achieve their target scores and build academic skills. Based in Portland, we serve students seeking to improve their test performance and overall understanding.
Abby and Brett did an amazing job tutoring me for the SAT! Over the course of 8 weeks they were able to bring my score from a 1310 to a 1430, passing my goal score of 1350. I would highly recommend them!!

Abby was referred to us by our college counselor for math tutoring In prep for the ACT. It was advised that she bring the math section of the ACT up a bit so we reached out to Abby for eight weeks of math tutoring. We were very impressed with her excellent level of communication with us and our daughter seemed to really like Abby’s approach and always came away from the meetings with a smile on her face. In the end, she did improve the math section of the ACT by three points, so the time and money was well spent. We would recommend Abby to anyone looking to improve their math skills especially in prep for the ACT!
Abby is the best tutor ever! She is so flexible even with her new baby boy. She works with you on problems making you feel like you are in it together. She is so sweet and will cram me in to her busy schedule to help me better prepare for an exam. Abby lays out the information she teaches you on her screen via zoom which is nice if you are a visual learner. It is also helpful because you can write down those notes yourself. Next year will be my third year with Abby and she has been able to help me with math and science EVERY year! She knows it all, I highly recommend her.
