Went there for team lunch before the winter holidays. Overall, food tasted ok for the price they charge. It's not living up to the hype of high-end steak. The wait staff seemed understaffed and overwhelmed even though we had made a reservation for a large group and they knew we were coming

📍 334 Santana Row, San Jose, CA 95128 I finally made a reservation at L.B. Steak on Santana Row, and let me tell you it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was modern, elegant, and warm… the perfect setting for a special night out. This modern American steakhouse is known for its hand-cut Prime Angus steaks and their incredible A5 Japanese Wagyu all cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. First things first… you HAVE to order the LB Steak Bread Basket. It’s freshly made, warm, and literally melts in your mouth. One of the best bread baskets I’ve had in a long time. We kicked off the meal with the Maine Lobster Bisque, followed by Brussels Sprouts, the Sautéed White Gulf Prawns, and of course, the Crispy Calamari every dish was so well-seasoned and delicious. Then came the star of the night: the LB Signature Steak the Ribeye Westholme, Australian Wagyu with their house marinade. You guys… this steak was unreal. Juicy, tender, and full of rich flavor. You cannot miss this one. And you know we didn’t leave without dessert. We went all in on an unforgettable dessert spread: Cheesecake, Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, Almond Butter Cake, Chocolate Cake, Bread Pudding, and the Fresh Fruit Tart. Every single one was decadent and melt In your mouth good. Every bite of this experience felt like a celebration. It’s elevated yet relaxed perfect for date night, birthdays, or anytime you want a truly amazing steakhouse experience. If you’re in the South Bay and looking for a spot that will impress, L.B. Steak is absolutely worth the visit.

The best steak you can ever eat. I love my steak and eating a good steak is an experience I seek during all my travels. LB Steak always comes on the top of my list. The whole experience exceeded my expectation. The quality of service is amazing. Staff are friendly and take their time to talk about meat cuts side options to make sure you are enjoying the food and ambiance. LB Steak never disappoints. I came back to visit after several years and the standard is the same if not better. I Highly recommend this place for all steak lovers and people who want the best steakhouse experience!

We recently dined at LB Steak at Santana Row and had a bit of a mixed experience. The Brussels sprouts were dressed with Thai chili and it was too sweet. The 35 days aged wagyu steak was served with no garnishes or sides of any kind. While I expect a premium cut from the wagyu, just a bit of garnishing would have brought more depth to the presentation. For wine service, I had hoped for a more traditional presentation where I could sample a small taste to ensure I would order the entire glass. The wine was pre-poured from small containers into glasses. I'm not concerned about the "etiquette", I just prefer to have that more refined experience. Overall, the food was good, the experience was good, and our server was friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend LB Steak for a casual or formal meal. It is a great option for a steak house in Santana Row.
