We needed an estimate on some electrical work, It took till the end of the day to arrive but MJ the electrician was thorough and quick with an estimate. Overall good experience……update, I received the estimate by email, it was just (2) statements (1) without a membership ($300) and (1) with a membership. The quote without membership was $50 more than the quote with membership. Yet the overall quote was @$3300 with or without membership. The quote itself had zero breakdown of costs or services just a general statement of the work I asked to be done. When I called the company to ask for a breakdown of the quote, I was put on hold to then be greeted by a voice& name with lot of busy work background noise happening, I asked if I was speaking to a person or a automated voice. I was informed it was an AI assistant, so I was put on hold for @1 minute for a computer program that had deceptive sounds to make it seem like a person in a busy work environment. I asked to speak to a person and was told I would be getting a call back, while writing this review I received a call back @13 minutes later informing me that they don’t give a detailed breakdown of costs in their estimates/quotes. So overall I am not very pleased with how this has turned out. I don’t se us going with this company for the work, we are having/had several other companies come out to give us estimates so we will be using another company to do the work. Initially I had given them 4 stars, the electrician was thorough and nice but the rest of the experience is sorely lacking changing it to 2 stars. Update 5 days later. They do not give a breakdown of materials and labor costs in their quotes/estimates , so if you would be wanting to know what your money would be spent on you will not be getting that.
Legacy is a great company, happy techs and happy customers. They have a good maintenance program with a twice a year inspection. Their techs listen to issues and work to find solutions. When my whole AC system failed, we had them replace it with a new cooling and heating system. Very easy and no stress. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. We recently had a minor issue and they we came out the next day to fix. Love their customer service team.
Dee was amazing. He was able to switch out all of our burned out breakers in our box which arced to my phone when I was trying to take pic inside of it. Darn near came close to taking our lives from what I was told. He was able to get all of the parts the same day, and fix it within 12 hours after the incident happened. He also cleaned up the mess that the builder left after they built our home. The excess wires that were there, leaving copper exposed, which caused it to arc like it did, he fixed. They were back on and working, and we couldn't be more thankful for his professionalism. I loved how he explained each detail to me as he was working on it and showed us all of the damaged. He's definitely one I'd have come back for our yearly inspections.
I booked Legacy Air to run Cat 5 cables to hardwire my house and overall had a great experience. For the cable running part of the job, I worked with MJ and Dee. They worked great as a team. It's not the easiest to run cabling in a house on multi levels without having to drill on the outside to make it work. I really didn't want any unnecessary drilling or extra fixtures on the outside of my home so they reassured me that won't be happening. In the end, they ran 5 cat5 lines only making 5 holes in our downstairs closet, living room, and second floor loft. They really listened to my needs and did a really great job, shout out to MJ and Dee! Afterwards, we needed to book the dry wall company to patch up the holes. We were scheduled for Aug 15th at 11am via text message directly from Legacy and on the 14th, I called Legacy directly to confirm. Unfortunately, the text message was deleted on their end and asked us if we could reschedule it to sometime in September. I immediately asked if they can honor our original scheduled date and even showed them proof of my original message. Their booking manager Nicole was out of the office so she had to call me back the next day. She called back first thing in the morning and honored our original date for drywall, she used another partner to make sure we were taken care of. She totally turned our experience around and it really meant a lot to me and my wife. Since it was an error on their end, it was the least they could do in my opinion and they totally delivered, thank you again for making this right, Nicole. And next, the dry wall repair. I sadly forgot the guys names but they were the best part of the service if you want my honest opinion! They were professional, on time, and super efficient. From the start, they jumped into action and lined their entire workspace with plastic wrap to ensure our home stayed clean at all times. From that point on, they were able to patch 5 holes in a couple hours. The only delay was having to pick up matching paint from the store but that only took 30 minutes. All in all, they were finished within 4 hours! It was such a great experience and they wrapped up the entire project in the best way, making everything look just the way it did before we got any work done. Check out the results, it's amazing. Thank you again, you two. Finally, lets go over price and payment. They were a touch flexible on price so that was helpful and they offered a 12 month financing plan that allows you to pay it off within a year with zero interest. The APR only kicks in if there's any balance left over, it's through Wells Fargo and I've already started making payments. Just make sure you ask all those questions during the quoting phase. I would recommend Legacy Air! And this wasn't even a reference, I found them on Google, among 4-5 other businesses that gave me quotes as well. I just had a gut feeling that they would be better than the other companies, and I am glad I went with them.
Thomas came out to inspect the installation of our beautiful new unit and I was blown away by how knowledgeable, respectful and courteous he was. Usually people don't like when you hover and ask a bunch of questions while they work but he was so incredibly thorough, he didn't mind one bit answering all of my questions and walking me through everything he was doing. Thomas took his time and was extremely confident and detailed in his work. It can be scary spend that much money on something you don't know too much about but I definitely felt really good and secure about my purchase from Legacy by the time Thomas was done with his inspection. They truly care about their customers like family and I highly recommend using them.
