This is my favorite spot to grab little gourmet items to add to my pantry. They also have an incredible wine selection, and the staff are well versed in what wine you should choose based on your preferences. My favorite things to grab here are a loaf of Tony’s bread, French butter, and a sandwich of the day.

Reasonably priced, excellent sandwich. Perhaps the best in San Francisco, ever.

A hidden gem in North Beach! This place offers a great selection of wine, cheese, and other delicious treats, with attentive employees. I highly recommend trying the Pistacchiosa, Sicilian Pistachio Spread! Trust me, you won’t regret it! Pair it with some hazelnut biscotti from Stella Pastry, just a few blocks away. It's the perfect start to a Monday of vacation!

The most visually pleasing artisanal shop I’ve ever seen - we found this place on an evening walk through North Beach and walked in only because it looked so charming from across the street. We ended up chatting with the (owner?), learning lots about their cheeses and sandwiches (which they only offer for lunch), and he was so friendly that we found ourselves buying several items. The beautiful built-in shelves are laden with jams, jellies, beers, wines, sausages, candies, cheeses, and everything I couldn’t take in all at once. I highly highly recommend a visit!

The wine selection and authentic food, like chocolate from all the world, is incredible. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I came in looking for a bottle of wine for dinner and left with a great choice and a Lithuanian chocolate bar to go along with it.
