The delivery people are very nice, but I'm missing an important part of my couch. I'll update when/if? the rest of it gets here... not impressed so far with my purchase from here and don't recommend them to others... 5 days later... still missing part of my couch and no update on where it is or when it might arrive. Just that it's coming from California. I've reached out to Living Spaces again for an update.
Ordered a bulk load of furniture for our new build. Carlos, Jackson, and friend (forgot 3rd guys name) were excellent in getting our furniture delivered and set up. Very efficient and arrived on time. Snow was on the ground and stairs had fresh carpet installed and they made sure to wear their shoe covers when in the house and remove and clean the bottoms when going back out to the truck. They were sure to ask where and how we wanted our furniture positioned. Very happy with furniture and crew used to get us taken care of.
I was impressed by the wide selection of all kinds of furniture; sofas, chairs, desks, tables, beds, outdoor furniture etc. Store seems to have varying price range from lower to higher price point. I would recommend checking this place out. Also their delivery options are amazing! From free to white glove for only $100! Staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing or pressuring.
Wow. I’m INCREDIBLY let down by my entire shopping experience with Living Spaces. At the beginning, we had a great time in the store, everybody was so helpful and kind. We found the perfect couch for our new space and spent nearly $5,000 just for it. I loved the experience of picking the fabric and cushions. All seemed great, I even told everyone that would listen to me how much I recommend this place. Unfortunately, once the company had our money, all other services including help of any sort went completely out the window. The smiles and in-store experience is all a facade. They told us from the date of purchase it would only take a few weeks and then it ended up being a longer wait than expected… no big deal. Couch got delivered and it appeared great. Until I took a closer look and not even 10 minutes after the delivery people left, I noticed metal staples hanging out of the back corner and the fabric is flipped down. I contacted the warranty service that same day and to begin with, I was offered $800 to resolve the issue on my own rather than getting a technician out. They tried to throw money at the situation rather than fixing it, an amount that wasn’t comparable to the entire amount of the purchase. If it was a minor stain, I could understand but with it being metal, it’s a clear safety hazard, especially for small children. I got a date scheduled for a technician to come out to repair it and they gave me a 4 hour window for them to show up (8am-12pm.) After 3 and a half hours went by, I called the number that was sent on the confirmation text about the time and date for the appointment and wanted an ETA but was told that they were probably just running late and the technician would be reaching out to me but that they still had almost 20 minutes to show up… I called again after the scheduled time and was told to give it another hour or two for someone to reach out to me to hopefully get an ETA, which was not received once all day. After 2 hours, I called again and was told that they couldn’t even get a hold of the technician that was supposed to come out and a message was left for a manager of the repair techs but that’s all that could be done and if a tech didn’t show up or reach out then that was pretty much that… I’ve now wasted an entire day for an appointment that could have been done as early as 8 am. I’ve now called customer service for Living Spaces and a nice woman said that she left a message and I should be getting contacted in the next 24-48 hours to reschedule the repair… Something I am really dreading at this point, hopefully it’s not a re-run of this initial appointment. Honestly, we had heard not-so-great situations with the customer care and service from Living Spaces but wanted to try a new store to furnish our home. After all of this, we will definitely NOT be returning to Living Spaces, even as much as I tried to love it and stay positive. This is the first review I’ve ever left on something, which should say A LOT.
All friendly staff. We were allowed to shop without feeling a salesman breathing down on us like a hawk for commission. They were well staffed so when we did have a question, someone was nearby and promptly assisted us. Inventory was available for delivery this week which is a major plus these days. Very great communicating costs and delivery options balancing your costs. Overall a wonderful experience and will likely return in the future.
