Maude was an amazing tour guide! She took us to some amazing places to try new dishes that are local to Quebec City. My favorite one was the smoked bison and lions mane mushrooms. Maude explained all of the dishes we were going to have along with how they are prepared and the establishments that prepared them. I would highly recommend a tour with Maude!
My family of three had a great time today. Our guide, Maude, was super nice and very knowledgeable. We lost our way and took a little too long parking, but she was kind enough to wait for us. Even though two members of my family had dietary restrictions, alterations were made for us since we notified them ahead of time. All of the food was great. We liked it so much, we made plans to visit two of the restaurants from the tour later this week.
Awesome tour with Maude who was funny, entertaining and informative. Food choices were super along with the wine we tasted and the finishing gin. Cute little historic eating places too. Very highly recommended.
Maude was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Quebec City. The restaurants we visited we iconic places which have been in Quebec many years. The Pea soup at La Buche was my favorite followed by the fresh croissant at Boulay bakery. I would definitely recommend taking the tour.
Maud gave the best food history tour of Quebec. Best I have ever had in any city - and I have taken quite a few! The walk was easy, restaurants were ready for our group of 16. Service at each was great. From Poutine and gin to briande and duck plus croissants and sugar crème. History of Quebec gave you a sense of French and English church and Star Wars. Thankfully Quebec City ended up with the heart of the French from buildings to food and language. This was a great first tour when visiting Quebec. All walking was inside the walls of Old Quebec. Highly recommend!
