Beautiful beach and park only half hour drive from Boise! Stopped by in shoulder season so didn’t swim but this would be the spot to be in summer. The words on the dam backdrop is pretty cool too.

Super fun! Admission into the park was only $7, we also rented paddleboards there and it wasn’t too bad. Even on a “busy day” it was still easy to navigate around people. Would definitely go back.

An absolutely gorgeous place to take in the sunset views! This would be the perfect place for a sunset picnic in June. Pictures are worth a thousand words so be sure to check them out.

Such a great destination, just 25 minutes from downtown Boise! Picturesque both the drive and the park itself, gorgeous backdrops paired with a soothing sound of running water. Please make a reservation for their bbq area ( theirs is a big gazebo to guarantee plenty of shade ) for group parties! There’s a fantastic walking and biking path that is smooth and protected with a rail on one side. Bathrooms were clean and the daily fee to use the park was seven dollars. Make sure to bring cash for the service fee. So go, what are you waiting for! You won’t regret it!
