My daughter is currently in 4th grade, and I enrolled her in Mathnasium of Encino in April 2024. We have had a wonderful experience! Initially, I was looking for a way to keep her engaged during the summer and came across Mathnasium. She excels in math at school, but after completing the initial assessment, I identified areas where she needed additional support that her school teacher may not have been able to provide. I realized how effective their program would be in deepening her love for math when I observed that she approached a simple math problem differently than I did. From the moment I scheduled our visit to every drop-off, the experience has been seamless and enjoyable. My daughter eagerly anticipates her sessions each week. Additionally, they incorporate board games after assessments, which not only engages her but also reinforces the lessons for a deeper understanding of the material. We opted for a two-year enrollment and have no plans to withdraw her from the program. The scheduling is flexible and easy, allowing me to drop her off while I run errands. When I pick her up after her session, she is always energized and excited to share what she has learned, affirming that we are in the right place for her growth and passion for a subject that many find challenging. At the very least, I encourage you to try the assessment. They also offer excellent summer camps!

I want to state that this facility is ran very well. When Amanda took over, she changed everything. She is very caring about the children, and she wants to see them succeed. And that's what makes it such a great place. She sits with you 1 on 1. She goes over all the test scores, and then she always has a plan. I enjoy working with Amanda because she is very professional. Very caring and very knowledgeable, her knowledge extends way beyond most people that I know. She knows exactly what plan needs to go in place to make your child successful. She helps grow your child's confidence within math. And I love that you can tell that she really loves her job with her smile on her face and eagerness to make a change for the best in your child. Best choice I ever made was bringing my child with Amanda at mathnesium. You will get more than your money's worth there. You will get someone that actually cares about your child's academics. And that is priceless.

The Director Amanda was great. She’s extremely thorough, takes time to construct a tutoring plan specific to your child, communicates well, and you can tell she truly cares about the child’s learning experience. My kiddo was an 11th grader who needed to brush up on critical skills to finish out the year strong. The lesson plans and the tutoring provided definitely helped. We were very pleased with the professionalism and attention given. Thanks again.I highly recommend.

The center director Amanda is amazing! She keeps us parents up to date on our kid’s progress. Joesph helps out a lot and breaks the learning plan down so that our child could understand better. This center has helped so much for his confidence and to get him on track just in a few short months. In my opinion it’s a great investment.

Mathnasium is amazing, Our daughter had a rough 2nd grade where her home room teacher was diagnosed with Cancer so she had subs the entire year. She didn't learn anything, moved on to 3rd grade, her teacher was not great (multiple parents didn't like her as a teacher). She was far behind in math but the other subjects she was doing okay to well in. We enrolled her in Mathnasium with Ms. Amanda and she has improved 2 grade levels in 6 months and she had a 95% growth on her STAR test and is actually more confident in all of her school subjects now. We highly recommend Mathnasium for all students. Even if your child is good at math and just needs to be challenged, they can definitely help you little genius!!
