Outstanding Service from Josh and the Team at Mavis Tire This was my third visit to the Mavis Tire location in St. Petersburg, and once again, they delivered exceptional service. My mechanic identified that one tire was failing, and I came in concerned about what the repair might cost. Josh, the manager who has helped me on previous visits, immediately put me at ease. Instead of the typical upsell you often get at tire shops, he confirmed I only needed to replace the one tire—not two or four. Even better, he recommended a different style of the same brand I prefer that saved me about $100 without compromising on quality. The appointment was on time, the work was completed quickly, and the entire team was friendly and professional throughout. It’s refreshing to work with a shop that prioritizes honest recommendations over maximizing the sale. If you’re looking for trustworthy tire service in St. Pete, I highly recommend Mavis Tire. When my Dodge Ram Truck suddenly and consistently flashed both ABS and Brake lights on my dashboard, a quick Google search for a garage providing brake work with good reviews landed me at Mavis Tire on 4th Street N. Mike was working the service desk and he listened to the issue, asked pertinent questions regarding my brake function and even checked my brake fluid in the parking lot in an attempt to rule out any immediate brake issues. Unfortunately the mechanics were booked that day and I was scheduled with Donovan the next day. Donovan inspected my brakes, clearly explained the issue to me and thoroughly answered my questions without any upselling attempts. I am 100% impressed with customer service I experienced here! Thank you for your help!

This Mavis shop is superior in customer service. Everyone I've spoken with has been very respectful, and has explained any issue thoroughly. I have had several things done and each and every time it is the same superior service. I have spoken many times with Josh and he is truly an asset to the company. He is very knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond what other shops would. I finely have peace of mind with my vehicles. Thank you!!! 100 stars!

My two front tires were not holding air for long. I called to get an appointment to see if my tires could be patched. They were able to make an appointment for me next day at 12:00pm. I called in the next day to see if they could get me in a little earlier. They were able to accommodate. I got my vehicle there by 10:00am and they called me by 11:00am to pick it up. Very quick service! Unfortunately after they assessed my car it was determined that both tires needed to be replaced. They reviewed pricing with me and were upfront about all costs so I knew exactly what I would be paying once I returned to pick up my vehicle. I believe the individuals who helped me were Chris and Josh. Great guys. They offer a 10% military discount which is a big plus. Any chance to save a little money is nice. My BF has been to this location before and we both had a smooth experience. No issues at all.

He listened to what I needed, explained everything clearly, and directed me toward the best tire option for both performance and wear and tear. His customer service was top-tier no pressure, just honest guidance and efficiency. He got me in right away and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. If you’re going to Mavis, ask for Christian. You won’t be disappointed!
