First of all, I have to say Asley is very bubbling and friendly front desk. Sean is a PT who is good at dry needling. However, I can only give one star because of insidious infestation happened to me while receiving PT treatment. I already appeared skin rashes toward the end of therapy over there. I had no idea it was not an allergic reaction from changing soap. Later, I went through two months of hell because of delayed rightful treatments and med side effects from 6 clinicians and wide range of wrong diagnoses in Cone Health. Eventually, all the mental and physical stress had pushed me to the brink of nerve breakdown and triggered other organ system issues. Moreover, I had to pay cash to find a dermatologist who confirmed it was human mite infestations through multiple skin-to skin contacts. I had no other sources of such except for PT, and when calculating the latent period, it definitely fell into those months in this location. Looking back, I noticed PT staff working on me with bare hands for the first month, and then later quietly put on gloves. It was probably too late at that point. Meanwhile, the pattern of how mites migrated reflected the upper and lower back that were being worked on my body. I am indignant with whoever was infested, you had all the duty to warn the patient. On the other hand, if you want to blame it was from another patient, I think it is very unlikely because 1) all rashes starting from the PT working-on spots 2) even you used your bare hands or never changed gloves, this infested patient had to be on the same multiple sections with me. I am still not entirely out of woods after 3 applications of mite killing cream, not to mention all the torments and sufferings that come with it. After this ordeal, I think I will be very hesitant to receive any PT treatment.
Rosa and Monaca are my physical therapist and I have had nothing but great experiences with them at Mediq. They are helping me in all areas of healing, especially my bigger issues my back, and knees. All staffing have been nice and helpful. I'm glad I was referred to MEDIQ Physical therapy. It's my first time in the aquatic therapy pool and I feel it's the best thing to help me heal and feel better. So thanks to Mediq and my therapist Rosa and monaca.
My daughter has started therapy here after breaking her tibia, fibula and ankle in two places. Rosa and the team have been nothing but kind, understanding and helpful during this journey. We're thankful that a friend told us about this facility for therapy and especially with it having the water therapy. The water therapy is a game changer for my daughter's healing!!! Thank you so much.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am with this place and their staff. My grandma got referred here for her chronic back pain about 3 months back and she had little mobility, and could barely stand for more than 30 seconds at the time of her first visit. They were able to give her a flexible treatment with aquatic therapy, and muscle-focused stretches & exercises for her recovery with weekly visits. All her therapist were very patient and sweet! Shout out to John, Sean and Rosa & also the receptionist, Ashely! The therapist here work great on targeting the pain in the muscles and everything they have done, has helped my grandma get better. Shes now able to walk for long periods of time, even without her walker. She’s got her strength back, she’s able to do task on her own, she has more energy and most importantly, her back pain has improved significantly. On top of that she has lost about 20lbs and she gained her confidence back! Thank you MEDIQ Physical Therapy!
What a caring group of therapists and staff I have met at MEDIQ Physical Therapy in Greensboro! I am thankful to be a patient here where compassion reigns instead of the “no pain, no gain” mentality that other physical therapy clinics seem to embrace. The therapists are knowledgeable and personable and I look forward to my PT visits rather than dreading them. I am improving, too. The receptionist, Ashley, has been very helpful to me as well. One will not find a better place to go for help and relief from their body aches and pains than this clinic in Greensboro. The facility is clean and tidy, too. MEDIQ offers both land and water therapy and other modalities as well. For professional care and therapists who are dedicated to improving your health and well being, this is the place to go.
