We had a scary experience with our 14.5 yr old kitty when we took her to Hilliard MedVet at 10pm. The service we received was nothing short of outstanding. The entire staff communicated with us every step of the way. Katie (Kitty-Kat) at the front desk is extremely compassionate, sympathetic, respectful and kept us updated along the way. We really had a great experience there. We brought our kitty home 4 hours later and she is completely recovered now. They were very gentle with her and treated her so well. We’re thankful for their care.
These people are amazing! They have been caring for my bunny, Father Fluffy Bottom. The front desk staff are very friendly, especially Lauren. She checked on him while he was in the back for me, went above and beyond and took pics of him for me to see how he was doing while recovering from the different procedures. The back staff (vet techs and doctors) were also incredible! Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Oglesbee (exotic docs) definitely know their stuff! They listened to everything attentively, they kept me well informed on what was going on with him before, during, and after procedures, and they sent me home with extremely detailed instructions and all the meds necessary. They taught me how to do administer injections and subcutaneous fluids. When I called with questions, they took the time to speak to me and give me advice on how to make my bunny better. The office itself was extremely clean and neat. Some may say it is too expensive, but remember, when it comes to your baby’s life, you get what you pay for, and they came through for me and my bunny! I feel they all saved my bunny’s life, and I could not be more grateful!
Great place. Love the new facility which allows more room for their patients and families. Had our Dane there as we thought his stomach was flipping. Turns out he is okay! Quick service and very friendly staff. Dr Shields was great! Nurses were amazing, as our Dane is terrified of men being a rescue. Thank you for taking great care of Zeke!
I had to make one of the hardest decisions anyone has to make putting my dog Zen down, which was my ESA animal. I personally couldn't ask for a more compassionate, caring, loving staff than the ladies that took care of my baby!! From the front desk to our room, these women were absolutely amazing!! They did thing's for me, and my Zenny girl that they did not have to do. Went above and beyond, and I can't begin how to thank them enough!!! Such an amazing staff, and if anyone ever needs their animal taken care of i highly recommend here. Maybe some day I will get another animal, and I will never go anywhere but here!! Thank you all again for everything that you did for my husband, myself, and my Zenny girl!!!
The service was great. Upon picking up my rabbit, there was confusion about the medication. They knew I was going to show up at three and I didn’t get to talk to anybody till 4 o’clock. Once I got home, I had to call back and ask about how often I should give a certain medication because it was not on the paperwork or the medication itself. The first problem with the medication, thank goodness, the tech caught it before I checked out, Because it was wrong. other than the medication mixup, everything was fine. They did surgery on Friday and I picked him up Saturday afternoon. He is now off of his medication and doing fantastic. They did save his life..
