Iskender and Beyti were our favorites. The chicken dish was okay. The lahmacun had a strong lamb flavor, so if you’re not a fan of lamb, it might feel a bit heavy for you. The meze platter was also very good. We wouldn’t really recommend the baklava — it tasted like it might be store-bought. Overall, it was a delicious dinner in a nice atmosphere. Definitely a Turkish restaurant worth trying in Austin.
We tried several dishes and everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Traditional Hummus, Falafel, Mezze Meatballs, Governor’s Plate, Mezze Platter, and finished with the Baklava Cheesecake every single dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. Even the baklava dessert was amazing. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived, but after about 15 minutes we were seated, and it was totally worth the wait. The service was incredible. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially the young lady who seated us and gave us great recommendations on what to order. The manager was also very kind and even offered us a Turkish coffee, which was a lovely touch. The place has great vibes, with seating both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for any occasion. Everything we tried was delicious, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.
Great experience! The food was really good—fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. The service was also excellent; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, a great spot with delicious food and great service. I’ll definitely be back!
Just writing this review and thinking about those tasty treats makes my mouth water. The baklava was delicious ,chewy, rich in flavor and F R E S H. Anyone that eats baklava should know the difference this is what I call homemade baklava and fresh. It was amazing. We will be going back! Atmosphere is chic and modern with that Turkish flare. The service is amazing and you just feel like you’re not in Austin.
MezzeMe is honestly the best Turkish restaurant I’ve been to in the USA. We visited Austin from Boston and just wanted to have Turkish food. As a Turkish person, it made me so happy to taste real, authentic flavors. The food is delicious, the people are amazing, and the whole atmosphere feels welcoming, comfortable and also this place is really affordable. I also want to give a big shout-out to Atakan. He took our order and was super kind, friendly, and professional. He really made the experience even better. I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!
