What a horrific company this is. I have called 4 different numbers given to me for Microsoft support. They either continually ring busy so that you can't get a human being on the phone or they have an outgoing message saying, go online and basically get your own support, you can't get a human being on the phone to help with some Microsoft. Platforms that I have on my phone, that's pathetic.

Do NOT buy from the Microsoft Store if you don’t live in NYC I purchased a Microsoft Surface Dock directly at the Microsoft Store in New York City. When I got home to Miami and plugged everything in correctly, the dock simply did not work. The Surface charges perfectly when connected directly to the wall — but the dock itself is dead. Here’s the unacceptable part: I was told the only place I can return or resolve this is the same physical store in NYC. No mail return. No remote solution. This is incomprehensible for a company the size of Microsoft. Selling defective hardware and then forcing customers to physically return to the same city is not “customer service” — it’s negligence. If you don’t live in New York City or don’t plan on returning soon, DO NOT BUY from this store. What should have been a premium experience turned into a complete waste of time and money.

What an unexpectedly positive experience. The Microsoft Experience Store on Fifth Ave truly impressed me. The variety of products and the hands-on setup make it easy to explore everything, especially the Surface line. On two out of my three visits, the representatives were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful with my Surface 7 Laptop. Robert, and on another visit Steven, were exceptional. They took the time to assess my accessibility needs, carefully researched options before making any adjustments, and made sure I fully understood what they were doing and how it would help me. The store itself is sleek and modern, with a fully accessible flat glass automatic door and plenty of turning radius throughout the space. As a wheelchair user, I felt welcomed and comfortable every time I visited. The staff made sure I was supported and satisfied without ever feeling rushed. I didn’t explore the second-floor gaming area since I’m not an Xbox gamer, but overall, all three visits were consistently positive. I genuinely enjoyed the level of service—honestly, better than my experiences at the Apple Store. #tysadventures26 #microsoftstoreonfifth #microsoftsurface #nyc

In the annals of history, there are tales of great sieges and impossible quests, but few rival the Herculean labor performed by Mathew. When the digital foundations of my daughter’s Minecraft worlds crumbled into the abyss, Mathew did not merely offer "assistance"—he unsheathed his stylus and descended into the dark heart of the machine. For hours (or perhaps minutes) that stretched into an eternity, he sat vigil over that tablet. He braved the Wiki-Web Madness, navigating treacherous labyrinths of obscure Minecrafty forums and ancient coding scrolls that would have shattered the sanity of a lesser man. His mastery over the silicon realm is a spectacle of pure technological genius, a force of nature matched only by the most disciplined of the Jedi High Council. Though the fates were cruel, and despite his legendary efforts the worlds were ultimately reclaimed by the void, Mathew’s struggle was nothing short of mythic. He fought with the heart of a lion and the precision of a master architect. I shall forever remain in his debt for this display of raw, unadulterated heroism. Mathew is not just an employee at the Microsoft Store. he is a guardian of dreams. Thanks Mathew, you deserve it!
