Matthew has been cutting my short hair for over 17 years. I consider myself to be very picky and he always listens to what I want and gives great advice on what would work best. He takes his time and is meticulous with his cuts. I recommend him at Blue Mambo for anyone looking for a consistently great haircut!

Highly recommended!! I have been following Matthew for over 10 years for my men’s short and medium haircuts through many different hairstyles. He is always laid back, accommodating, gives great advice for different hair types, and a pleasure to converse with. Always a great experience and consistently awesome results!

I have been getting my hair cut by Matthew for the better part of the last decade and I cannot say enough good things about him and his services. He is punctual, friendly, and an absolute master stylist. With each visit, he takes the time to assess what I'm looking to do with my hair and will take his time to ensure I walk out satisfied. I never feel rushed - it is comforting to watch as he peruses my scalp to make sure every single strand of hair looks like it should before completing my cut. I would absolutely recommend him and his services.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Matt for about 6 years now, and I definitely recommend him!! I have fine, curly hair, which I often found hard to manage before discovering Matt and his “wash and go” method. I used to think that my hair type limited the styles that I could pull off, but my very first bold hairstyle – a short, angled bob – was beautifully cut and shaped by Matt. I really enjoy watching Matt cut my hair because it's like watching an artist at work – he makes sure that the end result looks great from every angle, and that you are happy with it. He's incredibly talented at what he does, and he’s great at talking you through what will or will not work for your hair type, and why (which I find very helpful!). Over the years, my mom (who also gets her hair cut by Matt) and I have developed a friendship with Matt, because on top of being great at his job, he’s also super nice and easy to get along with. I highly recommend Matt, so make sure to check him out! :)

I have been getting haircuts from Matthew for well over 15 years - his work is so incredible, I guess you could say its made quite a lasting impression in my life! From very early on, I loved the idea of wash & go cuts/styles - and of course, over the years there have been flat-ironed styles, years when I wanted to try wearing my hair curly -- and Matt has always been there creating the look I want and I can honestly say I have *never* left his chair unhappy! His attention to detail, a super rad sense of style, and of course the greatest conversation -- three reasons you should get in to see him!!! Highly recommend!
