I called on the afternoon of December 23 with my power completely out and was in a panic that no one would be able to help. The dispatch team got Calvin on his way to me immediately and he did a thorough safety check of the electrical system and replaced a faulty breaker to ensure I would be ready to host the holiday. I appreciate the whole team getting me back to having power and Calvin was great!

Upsold to within an inch of my life. Service was fast and the repair that needed to be made was done well. That said, I also had a quote for $15K and an entire page of things they told me I needed to do on top of the $6K of work they did. I got a second opinion from a master electrician and I’m glad I did. Hey told me none of the other things needed to done. So, please make sure you get a second opinion. Try a smaller, more independent electrician if you want a fair price.

I recently used Mr. Electric for a lighting issue in my bathroom. I was really happy with how quickly I was able to get an appointment but, honestly, the 5 stars is for Calvin. He was friendly, happy to take all my questions, and patiently walked me through answers to questions I had about some other electrical things I want to soon deal with. I try to fix a lot of things on my own, but I don't mess with electric. So, it was good to have someone like Calvin come in who I felt like I could trust to know what he was doing.

I've used Mr. Electric in several states and cities as we've moved around the country. I've used them here in Austin before, so it wasn't difficult to decide who to call when I wanted a whole-house surge protection system installed. Calvin was at my door in less than two hours after I called. He did a full electrical inspection and pointed out a few items that he felt I should be aware of. He took all the time necessary to answer my questions and explained everything in a very simple manner that I could understand. He installed the surge protection devices and did a fantastic clean up after he was done. He then took the time to answer all my questions and explain service, warranty, etc. I would very happily recommend Mr. Electric and Calvin to anyone needing electrical services.
