I had an extremely positive experience with Stan’s! I had a list of repairs (water conditioner installation, HVAC inspection/maintenance, and electrical installation and repairs needed for a house I had recently moved into. For each category of work, a specialist was sent out. Each specialist was super knowledgeable, helpful, timely and communicative. I ran into zero surprises and ended up spending much less than what I was anticipating while also feeling like I took away a handful of knowledge. I will definitely be coming back to Stan’s for work down the road. Even the specialists were excited to be working for this business as they even said it feels like working at a “mom and pop” ran business which doesn’t seem to exist anymore, especially at the scale of Stan’s. I had my main sewer line clogged up all the way in my home. Gabriel Edwards came out on a Saturday evening after 8pm to un-clogg the pipe... He informed me that he had "felt" a pipe separation during the snake clean out and proceeded to proactively schedule a follow up appointment for Wednesday the next week. Sure enough his "feeling" was correct, because when he put the camera down the line there was indeed a separation of the PVC pipe. After quoting me for the repairs, he proceeded to show up every day for the next 3 days on point. He was punctual, courteous, professional and informative in his every interaction. Gabriel and his crew did a fantastic job at digging and replacing the damaged PVC pipe that was causing the issue. During our interactions he informed me that he had a wife, a kid, and that his wife was expecting to deliver twins within the next 2 weeks. Given all that, he never once de-prioritized my repair and always presented a professional presence. I can't thank him enough for getting my issue resolved. Would definitely recommend him and Stan's for any plumbing work needed in the Austin area. Thanks Gabriel Edwards!
I had Stan’s out on 9/12/25 to replace a metal sheet, clean my drip pan, and replace styrofoam from my previously failing evaporator coil—damaged components from an earlier leak. This should have been covered under warranty, as I had Gold Plan maintenance in March 2025 and renewed. When they corrected some of the components, they damaged my ceiling and insulation by forgetting to glue condensation tubes, causing a second leak that same day. Weeks of my requests for insurance or reimbursement have been ignored. I had to cut a hole in my ceiling myself on 9/13/25 to prevent mold and have already spent over a thousand dollars on inspections and property damage, with total damages in the thousands. The HVAC unit still isn’t fully fixed, and I’m left to handle the property damage myself - including mold. As a Gold Plan member, I should be reimbursed directly—not forced to go through my builder, as they suggested. This is untimely, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I cannot recommend Stan’s. Update 10.23.25: still no direct reimbursement or insurance from Stan’s AC with the property damages.
Mr Robert Mendoza and Mr Daniel did an amazing Job replacing my evaparator coil which leaked with the new one. He took the time out to explain to me every detail he was doing as I asked questions. They both did a outstanding job. They made sure they put plastic down on my wooden floors as well
Stans heating and Air did an amazing job rebalancing my new home. Bernie and his helper really helped a lot and explained a lot of the new components that I'm not used to with a new home. These guys definitely deserve a raise they are fast and efficient. Very informative and gave me information on what to do moving forward. Thank you guys again you guys are amazing
