We attended for dinner last Friday night and absolutely loved our food. The dishes were nothing short of amazing - the most memorable were the eggplant katsu, the tartares and crudo, and the Brussels sprouts. We’re not big veggie eaters but even in our opinion you must try those as those are the best brussel sprouts and eggplant we’ve ever eaten. Ordered the $170 menu and both of us were so full - they are generous in their portions. Also loved their desserts - absolutely decadent and luxurious. Where I think improvement could be would be the service. The prices and food are aligned to fine dining but the service was not. We’d ask for things and our server would always forget. She also lacked basic knowledge on the menu (ie. didn’t know what kind of fish was in some of the nigiri’s, didn’t know what ingredients were used in some of the items, didn’t know how some items were prepared). Also noted that our Foie gras was overcooked and the answer was “it’s possible”. Aside from that, the ambience was really nice. The dishes here are super unique and well prepared so we’ll definitely come back.

Incredible 16-course Omakase experience. Chef GaCong is very well-spoken to describe his idea and his inspiration behind each tasting piece. He has profound knowledge about his craft and you can feel his passion for Japanese cuisine. The Omakase is a fun, delightful and savoury journey through playful and creative combinations of flavour, aromas and textures. The servicing staff is also very nice and friendly. Also worth mentioning that the service is very accommodating for pescatarian alternatives, which was very much appreciated. I would totally recommend this Omakase experience. 10/10.

We attended the 6pm seating on a Wednesday evening for Omakase dinner, and the experience was extraordinary! The Montreal-born Japanese trained Chef prepared 16 mouthwatering and sensational courses, each one expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The wine pairing consisted of two glasses of white wine, one of chilled saki, and one red wine which were served in perfect harmony with the flavors in each dish. To say that this experience was divine, could be an understatement.

We went to Nama Omakase to celebrate our anniversary and my husband’s birthday, and everything was perfect! The service was impeccable. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and remembered every detail from my reservation. Her recommendations were spot-on and really elevated the experience. There was a delay on the grill but the atmosphere helped Super cute and intimate. They made the night feel so special. I highly recommend the eggplant katsu and the beef short rib, both were absolutely to die for! The nigiri selections were also beyond delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

Michelin-level service. The staff is friendly and professional. I salute the chef's courage to deliver on such a unique omakase menu. The chef's knife work and rice technique are on point. The interplay of textures and flavors was truly gratifying. Great ambiance with sober decor and good music. I'll be back.
